Even if I had to admit that I liked her more on 'Welcome To Kanagawa' this is very good submission. Marcia picked season premiere three times in a row. Since it is her best, I hope that she receive a nomination again.

Wow. That was a nice obseravtion. I didn't notice that. Well I can see her choosing that in Season 3 because she lacks episodes where she really shined.

In Season 2, it's one of the best episodes that season (though not her best performance.)

Yup, she changed it to Listen to the Rain on the Roof before the deadline. And that brought many hope for many Goldderbyites (including me) and included her in the predictions (though I didn't in my final list)

oh ok i thought so. well if she does stick with the premiere i think the "oh my baby" scene alone is worthy.

Marcia deserves to win....and Now You Know is a great tape IMO, with hilarious moments (the "OH MY BABY!" scene is the hardest I have ever laughed at Desperate Housewives) and she had that nice semi-dramatic moment at the end with Orson talking about the baby.

Will she get in? Probably not, but if she does I will be insanely happy and root for her to win.

I know she had a few others that I would call worthy tapes but the only one on the top of my head that I thought she was great in was Smiles on a Summer Night.

This is an excellent submission for her. It's the best tape she has, and it's both funny and dramatic.

This is the second year in a row that she's submitted a great tape. This year she is even better than she was last year, and i think this is a weaker year for her category, so hopefully ABC gives her a big push. Does anyone know if the are?

It should also help out Teri Hatcher considering it contains Hatcher's best comedic/dramatic performance of the season as well.

I don't think that Listen to the Rain on the Roof was a great submission. It was a wise submission considering she wasn't present the whole season but not a great one .

Plus, I think this year has a stronger batch of Comedy Actress contenders. Names like Leah Remini, Sarah Silverman, and Anne Heche were even considered last year due to lack of possible contenders. Now, even a Housewife has trouble of making it to the top 10.

"Now You Know" and "Welcome to Kanagawa" is second best in my opinion....The best one was "Smiles of a Summer Night"...just remember the movement with the hand that she does when she realises the pie is not hers, or the "JUST give me the recipee" line....However the "Oh my baby scene" is hilarious too...

"Now You Know" is an excellent selection by Cross. Hopefully Dana's selection "Smiles of a Summer Night" for supprting also helps Marcia get the nod for lead. It certainly will not harm her chances.

yep, i've always thought it was an emmy submission since the first time i saw the episode. i haven't watched DH sicne the tornado episodes so i don't know if there's anything better. i remember enjoying the episode where she wants to circumcise the baby, really funny stuff too. but yeah, the premiere is her best shot. i'll be rooting for the nomination!
