It would be more likely to only have cable shows if we were on the panel system this year, but with popular vote only there are going to be network shows in the top six. Shows...as in plural
FYC-Album of the Year: Maxwell's BLACKsummers'night
I have a feeling Entourage is out in Comedy Series and United States of Tara is in. I also think 24 won't be anywhere near Drama Series (Sutherland's gonna be the only major nomination) and that True Blood will sadly be pretty much snubbed completely.

I had a weird dream the other night that Debra Messing won Comedy Actress for The Starter Wife.
This might be a snowball's chance in hell for her to get a nom, let alone win as the six spots are pretty much taken by last year's 5 nominees, Poehler and Collette with one being out.
But if that happens, it will be "a real surprise."
That The Big Bang Theory gets nom and Two and A Half Men gets snub.
FYC Globe Voters: Steve Carrell (The 40 Year Old Virgin) For Lead Actor In A Comedy and The 40 Year Old Virgin For Best Comedy. Yeah I know, you laugh while watching this Comedy, but still put it on your ballot.
I'm gutless lol. Changing my predix for the last time and I am going to kick myself if Mary got in and was one of the few who had her. Going w/the "filler" Holly Hunter.

Here's a name nobody's mentioned as far as I've seen as a contender, but is largely credited with helping Grey's Anatomy waking up; the amazing Kevin McKidd, whose role as Owen Hunt revitalised the show to a massive degree. I'm hoping he'll come out of nowhere to score a nom.
What would be a surprise to me, once BSG gets frakked again by the academy, is that we get an actual voting member of the organization, put him/her on camera and ask them point-blank, what is with the Emmys' obvious bias toward science fiction tv shows, and BSG in particular. And have them answer it honestly. But it'll never happen.
That said, I think that after four years, somebody in the ATAS should grow a pair and put it on the record as to why they hate genre TV that freaking much.

even if they weren't 'biased' does the show really deserve to be up against the best shows? judges say no, oh well.
