Big fan of Matt Bomer...followed him on CBS's "Guiding Light," as Eliza Dushku's boyfriend on "Tru Calling," brief part in "Flightplan," good role in "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning," recurring role on "Chuck" and my favorite, the lead on the short-lived but riveting ABC drama, "Traveler." Looking forward to seeing him bring this character to life.

WHITE COLLAR - NEW ORIGINAL SERIES PREMIERES TONIGHT 10/9C USA NETWORK
White Collar is about the unlikely partnership of a con artist and an FBI agent who have been playing cat and mouse for years. Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), a charming criminal mastermind, is finally caught by his nemesis, FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay.)
When Neal escapes from a maximum-security prison to find his long-lost love, Peter nabs him once again. Rather than returning to jail, Neal suggests an alternate plan: He'll provide his criminal expertise to assist the Feds in catching other elusive criminals in exchange for his eventual freedom. Initially wary, Peter quickly finds that Neal provides insight and intuition that can't be found on the right side of the law.
Discuss.

USA has certainly had a knack for launching fun new series lately--"Burn Notice", "Royal Pains", etc. I'll definitely check it out. USA Today's review is very positive, particularly about Bomer and DeKay.
Hemingway once told a friend he was considering giving up writing. "But Ernest," the friend protested. "You love writing!" "No," corrected Hemingway. "I love having written."

I enjoyed it, but I honestly don't find it to believable that the pretty boy lead would be such a fearless, criminal mastermind. I feel like he could've been a bit more rough around the edges. I guess they were banking on the Catch Me If You Can thing happening...where people would overlook it.
I loved it. I thought it was funny, smart and sexy. It's probably my favorite new show of the season.
I have enjoyed Matt Bomer since Guiding Light as well so it's nice to see him get such a great role that almost seems tailor made for him.
Bomer sure is hunkalicious especially in the wardrobe he wore. Those suits, the hat, the turtlenecks. Nice to see a goodlooking man dress elegantly yet masculine.
