That's very interesting that Weeds avoided "No Man Is Pudding". I guess they think it's too dark.

OK, Mad Men goobered a bit with "Maidenform" over "Three Sundays" or "The New Girl". Hope that's not a fatal slip. Awesome submissions by the three actors though.

And yea! for Jim Parsons.

Hm, interesting choice going with "Maidenform." Not totally surprising since it was on their FYC DVD, but they could have gone with "Three Sundays" (Which I'm very surprised was not picked at all). I don't think it'll matter too much.

William Hurt should have submitted "Look What He Dug Up This Time" instead of "Hey, Mr Pibb!" That drops him down to the bottom of the list from the tapes known already in supporting actor in a drama series (Paul, Slattery, Hurt).

"Weeds" really missed the mark in their submissions across-the-board. Sigh.

I think Weeds submitted perfectly picking the first four episodes, but I guess I'm the only one here since I think that the middle part of the season sucked. Then they rebounded with the final two episodes. They won't win, but to me, they're perfect.

What about Rose Byrne? Just saying, since you have series, Hurt and Close...

And great for Jim Parsons, he had three great tapes with the premiere, the friend episode and this one. This one is excellent specially for those who will see it for the first time, the final moments are just priceless, also great moments at the store...

Just added Simon Baker to the list above. He submitted the pilot, of course. That's now official.

I think the series submissions for Weeds are perfect. I would have found room to include "No Man is Pudding" and "Little Boats," but other than that, I think they chose their absolute best episodes. Not that they will win, but I'm glad they are in it to win it.

I completely understand them choosing "Lady's a Charm" for Mary-Louise Parker (she is brilliant in it), but "No Man is Pudding" would have been difficult to bet against.

The episode submissions for Damages are pretty good, though "Hey! Mr. Pibb!" seems out of nowhere. Glenn Close is going to win a second Emmy for "Trust Me."

I think Mad Men is vulnerable. I probably would not vote for the show if I received a tape with "Maidenform" on it. Decent episode, but not their best. Good news is that Hamm submitted better this year and Moss did well.

I see that "Mad Men" people are actually reading us. Good for them! All of the actors made the best submission choices. I hope if any of them wins in September, will thank us. Cool
As for Glenn Close submission, it's okey, but she should go with "They Had to Tweeze That Out of My Kidney, just for the breakdown scene alone. As for Hurt, he could do much better.
Sad to see that Hall, Parker and Perkins didn't change their submissions. Well, if they don't want to win, it's their choice.
Jim Parsons has just won himself an Emmy (a perfect submission!), if the voters are actually going to see tapes.
As for Simon Baker he has chosen an decent tape.

And Vanessa Williams confirmed to TVGuide (I think it was them) that she was submitting "The Fall Issue," which is supposedly a pretty bad choice.

Great picks for Mad Men!
William Hurt won't win an Emmy, he should submit "Look What He Dug Up This Time".
I like the series submition of Damages, Glenn Close is there for win too!
Great choice for Jim, but I don't think he'll win...
And where's the Rose Byrne submition?
And the submition of Vanessa Williams? Wasn't confirmed??

Weeds did a good job with their Series submissions; only 'No Man is Pudding" is missing, which is a winning episode, so that's a shame. As for their actors, Parker's tape isn't as bad as it's been made out to be -- she has some fun scenes, but as has been stated time and time again, she could have won with 'Pudding' as her tape. Perkins's 'The Love Circle Overlaps' isn't a bad tape either; she doesn't have a ton of screentime, but when she's on, she's golden; she could have won with either 'Pudding' or 'Head Cheese', but actresses have won with less.

Since William Hurt screwed up his submission, Aaron Paul has a very strong chance to win if he submits "Peekaboo".

Jane Krakowski picked "The Ones"! Awesome. That's the one I hope she'd pick and chose for my submissions list. She could really win this Emmy. Wow.
