House returns tonight (on it's new night), with 4 new episodes to finish out the season.
"No More Mr. Nice Guy"
House suspects that an ER patient with a sunny disposition has a bigger problem than was initially diagnosed. The reason: He thinks the patient is too nice. Meanwhile, House and Amber spar over face time with Wilson; and Cuddy demands House give his team performance reviews.
Enjoy!

Enjoyable episode. The team thinking House had syph, when he didn't, was pretty funny, as was House and Amber fighting over their time with Wilson. The POTW part of the episode didn't do much for me though.
Glad the show is finally back.

House and Amber treating Wilson like he was their son was very funny. I was kind of confused about the disease the "nice guy" actually had. Was it syphilis? Or something else?
I, too, am glad the show is back. I missed it lots.

there are too many characters right now in the show. TOO MANY!!! Could they not do a tragic chapter and kill off some of them? For instance Mr Black one. I would love to see a catfight between the girls... Amber vs 13 vs Morrison... but Amber vs House is also nice. I will love more screen time for Lisa and Wilson... Would it be perfect if Lisa get pregnant by Wilson.... Lovely. As i said too many characters for this show.

Cameron and Chase are basically wasted on this show. I was a fan of the Survivor style antics to bring on board a new team and while I like all 3 of them, I want the original team back together with House.
The House-Cutthroat bitch-Wilson triangle is funnier than most comedies on tv today. That is great stuff.
Show more Cuddy, please. The woman is wasted. I think we might see some cast cuts at the end of this season, but I hope she's not one of them.
Okay, Lindsay, are you forgetting that I was a professional twice over— an analyst and a therapist. The world’s first analrapist.
House believes that an actor (Jason Lewis) on his favorite soap opera is seriously ill after observing his symptoms on television, so he decides to intervene; Amber and Wilson have their first fight, much to House's delight; and Cuddy tries to keep up appearances when an inspector shows up unexpectedly at Princeton-Plainsboro.
Enjoy!

This episode was pretty good. It was pretty funny that House kidnapped the guy. Wilson wanting the water bed was pretty funny too, and it was nice to see Cameron throughtout the episode instead of a 5-second cameo like Chase had.
B+
And what the hell, a House spin-off??
From Ausiello:
"I'm jumping back on the House scoopwagon in a big way this week with news that Fox, in collaboration with producer NBC Universal, is quietly developing a House spin-off for next season. As I understand it, producers are introducing a new male character for a multi-episode arc and, assuming the actor they find really pops in the role, he may be spun off into his own show. But there's a twist, and it's a big one: Per multiple sources, this newbie is not a doctor, but rather a private investigator! And no, his name isn't Twitter. I'll have more details as they become available."
I don't know about this one.

Originally posted by MissyGal: I liked the episode too. The House/Wilson/Amber stuff was, as always, very funny.
Next week looks like it could be a potential tape for the show and for Laurie.
I was thinking that as well. The previews looked very "Three Stories" like. I am really glad they've brought Amber back, she has been wonderful and given Wilson more screen time, which is always a plus.
I don't really know what to think of a potential spinoff. One would think if they were going to do a spinoff, it might revolve around one of the main characters already established on the show that isn't getting enough screen time this season, like Cameron or Chase. Oh well.

I like House better back at the beginning of the season. The premiere, "Alone", was hilarious and the second episode, "The Right Stuff", was also very good.
My Emmy picks: 'Lost' for Drama, Drama Lead Actor, Drama Supporting Actor (Henry Ian Cusick), Drama Directing 'House' for Drama Writing 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' for Comedy 'The Office' for Comedy Writing
Hmm, I am also not sure about a spinoff. Hmmm, seems like a weird idea.
I liked seeing Cameron in this episode. I kind of miss Cameron and especially Chase. I think Chase turned into the most interesting of House's 3 fellowship doctors. I am kind of bummed they kept around Foreman and we see so little of Chase and Cameron.
I like having Amber around though. She is really fun. Some episodes I think House is funnier than most comedies on the air. This was definitely one of those episodes. House and Wilson are just hilarious.
I'll be interested to see next week's episode. I wonder if it may be a potential tape for Laurie. I am not sure he has a great Emmy tape so far this year. I guess one of the early episodes this season might work.
Oh please can they stop iof thinking about spin offs. Most of the time they just ruin the reputation of the shows, plus it's a hit or miss, most of the time being a miss.

In Part 1 of the two-part season finale, House suffers head injuries in a bus accident that also injures dozens of others. Though dazed and confused and unable to clearly recall events prior to the crash, he has flashbacks in which he sees a fellow passenger exhibiting signs of a deadly illness. He can't recall who it was, but that's not going to stop him from trying.
Guest star: Fred Durst
Enjoy!

So, yeah, if this isn't submitted for series, writing, and for Laurie, that would be a damn shame. This was by far the best episode of House since Three Stories.

I really liked it. Well, except for the part about them maybe killing off Amber. I mean, I do think there are too many characters, but they don't need to kill them to get rid of them. LOL.
I agree that the writing was pretty strong in this. I am looking forward to next week's episode.
I think we're all pretty much in agreement: that was a fantastic outing for the show. It needs to be a Series/Writing tape, as well as Laurie's submission for Lead Actor. Hell, he could win with it.
