Poor Justin Chambers. Picks his absolute best tape to date and gets snubbed for his subpar costar.

Sara Ramirez picks "Freedom" over "Heart of the Matter"? What the hell is she thinking?

Hugh Laurie also picked his best. Please, dear God, let this man finally win.

Wow, great news!

I'm so glad Steve Carrell changed his tape. That is excellent news.

Also excellent is the news about Hugh Laurie's tape. I really hope he can win this year. Though, I think Hamm was also really good. I am basically just hoping Spader doesn't win again.

Ugh! Robert Sean Leonard submitted Wilson's Heart. He seriously could have been nominated and maybe even have won with that tape if he would have made the top 11.

Hugh Laurie could actually win with House's Head.

That's excellent news that Steve Carell changed his tape to "Goodbye, Toby". It's the best shot he's ever had at winning the Emmy, and now he might actually pull it off. Maybe he listened to us and finally came to his senses. Wow. Best Emmy news of the day by far.

Matthew Fox's submission, finally.

Interesting that Evangeline Lilly switched from her flashforward episode, but she has a lot of screentime in "Something Nice Back Home" too.

My Emmy picks:
'Lost' for Drama, Drama Lead Actor, Drama Supporting Actor (Henry Ian Cusick), Drama Directing
'House' for Drama Writing
'Curb Your Enthusiasm' for Comedy
'The Office' for Comedy Writing
'Flight of the Conchords' for Comedy Directing

Still not behind Steve Carrell for a win.

...Not because of buzz
...Not because the nominee has 3 other Emmy noms
...Not 'cause the nominee is a writer so this would be great after the writer's strike
...Not because the nominee starred in a movie this spring.

Now that we know for sure that Hugh Laurie submitted "House's Head" I have to say this: Laurie has to win this year. It's about time.

Interesting choice for Evangeline Lilly. Now that I think about those two episodes, maybe she was smart to switch to the Jack centric episode. Unfortunately, she's not gonna be nominated, although she deserves it. She has become such a powerful actress after 4 years playing Kate.

Personally, I think Steve Carell should have picked "Dinner Party". It's a really strong episode for him. It shows us how much screwed up is his relationship with Jan and how much he's miserable with his life. But "Goodbye, Toby" is also a smart move. It's very funny because of his scenes with Amy Ryan and with Toby's departure but also shows a new side of Michael that makes us like him even more.

Great to see Hugh Lauries pick at long last. What a brillant episode "Houses Head" was. I hope the EMMY voters finally see the brillance of this actor to give him his much deserved EMMY.

Glad Lilly switched her tape. I liked her in "Eggtown", but I thought she was terrific in "Something Nice Back Home". Hopefully she made the top 10.

Hey, I agree. I think House's Head is a brilliant submission for Laurie. Maybe the best he has ever had on this show. I think he is way overdue to win. As much as I love Hamm, I am hoping Laurie can finally win.

Who in your opinion is Laurie's biggest competition?

Hugh Laurie, awesome. I only wish RSL would've had his tape seen, Wilson's Heart is soooo good. I think Laurie's main competition is James Spader. Voters will eat that tape up. Hall, Hamm, Cranston and/or Byrne will round out the category. Eddie Izzard, Peter Krause, Denis Leary also possible nominees.

Absolutely unbelievable Justin Chambers was snubbed when he submitted so perfectly.

Now I don't feel so bad for Sara Ramirez. She mucked her submission up.

I think James Spader is Laurie's big competition since he submitted "The Court Supreme". But will they actually want to give him is 4th (!!) Emmy? I hope he doesn't win again, but he's going to give Laurie a run for his money.

I think history clearly shows that Spader is Laurie's biggest competition. I think Spader is a good actor, but I am growing to hate the baity Emmy tapes he gets. I also think Hamm will have a chance to win this year. I haven't decided yet between those three.

I haven't seen Michael C. Hall's submission, but I heard that it wasn't his best. He definitely could have factored into the race as well if he submitted a better tape.

After an actor gets nominated, can they change their tape again for the win?
