She had been so great as that vile young girl Kayla on "Desperate Housewives". She has good submissions that POSSIBLY could get her in the top 10. Will she make it as an Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series?

The main actresses have trouble getting nominations as it is now. So I doubt she will.

Academy of Television Arts and Sciences: Changes need to be made regarding the Primetime Emmys. Having just ONE good tape in an entire television season should NOT be enough for a Lead Actor or Lead Actress to secure a nomination!
Academy of Television Arts and Sciences: Please don't just rubber stamp the well known names and/or previous Emmy winners. That's insulting to the other actors and actresses who have done great work and are deserving!
I think she does a pretty good job being an evil little child, but there's no way she deserves to be nominated with the likes of Dana Delany, Vanessa Williams, Jaime Pressly, Elizabeth Perkins, Jenna Fischer, and so on. And she won't be anyway, even if she did have a knockout tape.

Whya re we even discusisng her. She's unkown, has afew good scenes in one little episode. SHE HAS NO CHANCE IN HELL.
Many got annoyed when someone started a thread about Joy Lauren's Emmy chance. If that got people annoyed, then they might erupt with this one.

Why is there not more buzz for Jaime Pressly this year?

It's because she just won, and there's only few people that watch My Name is Earl here. And the show is not as good as it was before (though Lee, and Pressly are consistently good) but I'm pretty sure everyone here knows that Pressly alongside Williams are guaranteed of a slot already.
