Similar to last year, the fourth season premiere has been leaked, and while the season doesn't officially start until September 27th, I figured we may as well start the thread.
Title: "Living The Dream"
Synopsis: Dexter has to fit the newborn baby into his complex life. An old serial killer returns to Miami, and Frank Lundy returns to close the case.
Special Guest Star: John Lithgow

I love this show. I think it is definitely underrated as far as awards go. I'd love to see a series win and lead actor win in the future, as well as a nomination for Jennifer Carpenter.
Looking forward to the season premiere!

I am so excited for this show to come back. Its a shame that the Emmys haven't reward both the show and Michael C. Hall with wins. Hopefully Season 4 can change that!
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.

It won't change anything. Even if Michael C. Hall would give the best performance ever as Dexter, he's still Dexter. A character that the Emmys will never award. It's sad but true. The only thing we have is wathcing and enjoying the show.

Okay, he kills people, that didn't stop them from giving Emmys to the Men from The Sopranos...

There is SO MUCH MORE than he just kills people. In the hand of a lesser actor the character would be such a caricature, but Michael C. Hall's brilliant, nuanced performance makes him more than Emmy worthy IMO.
Fantastic season premiere! Great setup for the rest of the season!
I'm totally enjoying watching sleep-deprived Dexter! He's got his hands full this season: marriage, kids, trinity killer, Lundy's return, and as the previews for next week suggest - a missing bag of Benito Gomez's body parts.
As crass and unrefined as she is, Debra's potty mouth never fails to crack me up. Her reaction to seeing Lundy again ("Motherf*cking f*ck") was hilarious.
I'm kinda on the fence about the Angel-Maria hookup. It's kinda... icky. I don't why. It just is. I guess I never pictured Maria as a sexual entity. She always seemed so uptight.
And can someone please please please please PLEASE WRITE VINCE MASUKA OFF THE SHOW?!?!? After 4 seasons, the guy is still the same old disgusting, annoying, irritating, inappropriate, immature, depth-less, unfunny cartoon he always was.
I don't get the point of having Masuka appear week after week. Since the show began, I have NEVER EVER so much as chuckled at any of his so-called "jokes". The guy has become a caricature.
He was tolerable in small doses during the first season. But being subjected to his waste-of-time shenanigans in every single episode is just unnecessary.
I thought the premiere was excellent. It was creepy (Lithgow) it was funny (Dexter and the alternate opening theme song, Masuka) shockingly fun (Laguerta and....won't spoil yet), super fun to see evolve (Dexter and the baby) and well, nice ending to the episode...
I can only have high hopes for what's to come, John Lithgow was amazing with almost zero lines and just his natural creepiness...
And Dexter and the baby is going to be a huge problem for him but it looks like fun for us.
