So sad. She is in a better place without pain. She was a great TV movie actress (i.e. The Burning Bed).

RIP Farrah...

She battled so hard and is to be admired for her courage. She started as just another blonde babe and grew into a respected performer. Hope her son doesn't continue into the O'Neal pattern of self-distruction.

"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide."
- Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)

She fought so desparately against this disease. I hoped that she would have more time. I gasped when I read the news. So tragic and depressing. RIP. Frown

Too young to leave us, and a terrible way to go. I wish her and her family peace.

I don't know the news sounded very grim and think it was a matter of time. But nevertheless very sad. She was my favorite angel.

Just a few days ago, I set my DVR for recording The Burning Bed on Starz True. And now she's gone.
