Adding my vote to those who are thrilled with The Closer's campaign episodes. I thought this was a fantastic season of The Closer. I really hope Sedgwick can win with one of these.
Boy, Tom has been on fire lately getting episode submissions from the networks, studios and producers. His latest blog lists several of the "Desperate Housewives" acting choices (not yet including Cross, Hatcher, Huffman or Delaney, though). All of those titles have been added to our master list at the top of this thread.
Tom confirmed tonight that Elisabeth Moss of "Mad Men" is surprisingly going into the LEAD category. No episode info has been announced yet. Stay tuned as he keeps breaking more Emmy scoops.
GoldDerby member PaulHan recently spoke with Kristen Bell, who confirmed that she is in the guest actress category for "Heroes". I will add her to our master list above. Hopefully we will get her specific episode title soon.
I'm really interested in finding out what episode Elizabeth Perkins submitted. She really needs to submit something good or I'm afraid she won't get a nomination, but who knows the last 2 years she hasn't submitted very well but still received nominations both times
Also, under the Miniseries/Movie Lead Actress it says Vanessa Williams for The Fever, I believe it is suppose to be Vanessa Redgrave.

Tom also confirmed tonight from HBO that the "Extras Christmas Special" is indeed a Variety Special (not special class or TV movie) and that Ricky Gervais is entered into the Individual Performance category (plus directing and writing, of course).
Hey Boomer - are we sure Bruce Dern is submitting himself as Supporting Actor on Big Love? I felt like he was barely in it this season - and sure enough I looked it up and he was only in two episodes! Is this even allowed? Thanks!

Boomer, I know you need to confirm various actors' submissions through the proper channels, but I had the chance (due to winning an auction by the Equal Justice Initiative to attend the world premiere and afterparty of Forgetting Sarah Marshall a couple weeks ago) to talk to Kristen Bell herself, and that Cautionary Tales is going to be her guest actress submission tape.
Excellent choice on KB's part, as that is the strongest of what turned out to be, IMO, three potential tapes. Four Months Ago and Powerless were the other two. Not a bad batting average (.600) for somebody who was on for just 5 episodes and who delivered, also IMO, supporting actress-caliber work.

I am hearing that Jenna Fischer has submitted the episode "Fun Run". We will hopefully verify that info soon. In the meantime, what do you think about that choice? There is still time to change if you think there is something better for her this season.
Michael Emerson, who plays Ben Linus on ABC's Lost has confirmed that he is submitting the April 24, 2008 production code 409 episode "The Shape of Things to Come" in an interview with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin (link).
