"Let's hear it for New York!"
Posted
This will be the third time that I've given out my personal awards for the past complete television season (eligibility period: June 1st, 2008 – May 31st, 2009). I have numerous awards to cover, so stick with them until the end, as they will be revealed on a rolling basis over the next couple of days. Category placements are at my discretion like they would be for any personal awards. I'm trying a few new things this year, like including the past winners (either along with the current winners or in separate posts, or maybe both), and offering some selected commentary on the nominees, winners, and/or honorable mentions. Some categories were very contested this year in rich and diverse fields, while in other categories, it was much easier to center in on the final roster. I hope that you all enjoy these awards. The first batch of awards will begin shortly.

So far I like that you're spreading the wealth while still highlighting winners that are well-produced and deserving.
