Past winners include:

"Dexter" (Showtime), "Breaking Bad" (AMC)

Comments: The Southern Gothic photography for this series was stunning and helped to create one of the best main title sequences I've seen in years. Picking this as the winner was the clear choice out of the nominees, and the full sequence can be viewed HERE. Other worthy and close contenders were "United States of Tara" (loved the idyllic mood created with the pop-up animation) and "Sons of Anarchy" (vibrant and dark imagery to match the show's content).

I was sold on True Blood the minute I saw those opening credits. Simply outstanding.
