I guess it is really a tossup between Grey's & Lost. Hopefully it'll be Lost.

I think Grey's and LOST both get shut out and The Wire sneaks in.
that would be my dream but since the dirty old men of the ATAS (I know its not all of them but it is most of them) wasn't feeling it I think its out, but if that is the case Lost should be nominated in its place.

Even though it seems Grey's Anatomy's episode submission didn't go over very well with the panel, I still think the popular vote will help tremendously. I still think it was ranked high on that ballot regardless whether or not it had less buzz this year.
I'm praying Lost gets nominated in its place, but I won't be shocked if Grey's still ends up getting in. It hasn't been snubbed yet, and Lost has already been snubbed twice.
I'm still predicting Lost, though. I'm probably going to keep it that way until the noms are announced.

Hopefully there will be a suprise come next Thursday morning! If not, then the nominees will seem to be:
House Boston Legal Mad Men Damages Lost (or Grey's Anatomy)
I think Lost will get in over Grey's b/c the Emmys know when a series is having an off year and tend to have that reflect in their nominations most of the time (ask Heroes who is missing from the Top 10 this year and 24 who didn't make the cut last year)
Emmy FYC:
THE WIRE Dominic West as "Jimmy" in The Wire Andre Royo as "Bubbles" in The Wire Michael K. Williams as "Omar" in The Wire LOST Yunjin Kim as "Sun" on LOST Henry Ian Cusick as "Desmond" in LOST FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS Connie Britton as "Tami" in Friday Night Lights MAD MEN Jon Hamm as "Don" in Mad Men Christina Hendricks as "Joan" in Mad Men Vincent Kartheiser as "Pete" in Mad Men
I think it's pure wishful thinking not to predict Grey's for a nomination.
I bet it finished #1 in the popular vote. Grey's isn't like Desperate Housewives. It is still a water cooler show and it's been nominated for Drama Series the past two years. Grey's is also still getting Globe and SAG nods. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Grey's Anatomy win this year. You guys have to keep in mind that there is still a huge bias against cable shows in the top categories. Only Sex and the City and The Sopranos have managed to win. I think Mad Men and Damages will surely get the nomination, but I'm betting one of the network shows (Boston Legal, Grey's Anatomy) will probably take the Emmy.

Both top tens look similar and is so helpful for those of us way behind in our viewing. I'm happy to see The Tudors making the list, although, it doesnt look like it'll make top five. The agreement on episode 205, is interesting.

I wouldn't be surprised if Grey's Anatomy placed a little lower than first. Still top five, but not number one. This was just a different season. A lot of people were still buzzing about the show, but not in the most positive light aside from a few good performances.
Iff a network show were to take it this year, I'd bet on House.
For Your Emmy Consideration: Kyra Sedgwick - Best Actress in a Drama Series "Damages" - Best Drama Series Zeljko Ivanek - Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series Glynn Turman - Guest Actor in a Drama Series
