Sorry to post here but I did not want to create another thread. I was wondering if we are able to see the list of series and performers eligible to be voted for just like last year on the site. And when does the voting starts?

According to the official Emmy rules, the official nominating ballots will be posted on Friday, with members receiving their voting sheets by mail and having until June 26th at 5pm to return them, so the voting period must start somewhere in between.

Emmy Suggestions:

Lead Actress, Drama:
Glenn Close (Damages, "Trust Me") -- So superb, and so perfect in her art, she delivered a great performance in this episode, as well as the rest; she was very good in "I Lied, Too," as well.

Evangeline Lilley (Lost, "Whatever Happened, Happened") -- She was one of the actresses who I never thought really delivered a great performance, until this episode; her performance in giving her 'son' away, back to his grandmother, and talking to his grandmother, telling her that she was going back to the island to get Claire back, was so riveting, wrenching, and perfect!

Ellen Pompeo (Grey's Anatomy, "Stairway to Heaven") -- Another actress, who I never thought was one to consider for an Emmy, gave an amazing performance, specifically at the end of the episode. Totally worth a nomination in my opinion.

Anna Torv (Fringe, "Bad Dreams") -- I think that her work in this episode was superb, especially when she's comprehending what Walter is telling her about cortexephan, and she's realizing that she could have been experimented on with this drug. Also, her anxiety in this episode over the present situation, was very well performed. Definitely worthy of a nomination

Don't think she'll get nominated:
Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) -- I'm a huge fan of Kyra, and believe she really should have gotten the Emmy last year, especially for her performance in "Homewrecker," but I don't think the material in season 4 really allowed her to show how good of an actress she was. If she does get nominated, it will probably be due to her performance in "Timebomb" and "Power of Attorney."

I'm just wondering why people think Chandra Wilson will get a nom before Sandra Oh?

Not saying that it's crap but I'm just wondering. I think Oh is better this season than Wilson though that's not always the case with the Emmys.

I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

I would agree with you. I never made Supporting Actress predictions or suggestions, but I think Sandra Oh was fantastic this year. The one episode that really sticks out to me is "No Good at Saying Sorry (One More Chance)," as well as the one where Owen strangles her. For people who picked Chandra, I think they probably are thinking of her season finale performance; I also think she gave some other great performances this year, too.

Katherine Heigl--she was great with the whole cancer/Denny storyline, and until this second, I wasn't sure I would have considered her to win the Emmy -- however, I just thought of her performance in "Stairway to Heaven," or the episode where she first sees Denny. I think these performances were MUCH better than the ones where she was being treated for her cancer -- it will be interesting to see what episodes she picks, because that could be the deciding factor -- take Sandra Oh, who for season 3 submitted from "A Whisper to a Scream;" I believe if she would have picked "Didn't We Almost Have it All," she would have won.

Sandra was great though, and if she submits some of those episodes I mentioned, and Katherine Heigl doesn't, then I think she should get it. I would be equally pleased with Chandra, too. Honestly, I can't decide between them all, but Sandra was originally the one I would have considered!

Other suggestions:
Elizabeth Mitchell for "Lost". I think she was clearly overlooked in season 3 of Lost, but she was very good in the season finale this year, as well as a few others earlier in the season.

Going Out on a Limb:

It may be a small show, but Allison Mack was terrific on Smallville this year. I think of episodes such as "Beast," and "Abyss." She's been a terrific actress all around.

Cassidy Freeman (Smallville): This actress is on her game, just like Zachary Quinto from "Heroes." Both of these people deserve a nomination. Her work in "Toxic" was spot on, and should be enough for a nomination, but to be honest, she was great the whole season.

Erica Durance (Smallville, "Bride" & "Infamous"): I believe she's submitted her name under Best Leading Actress, which would definitely hurt her chances, but she was amazing in both these episodes, and should easily be considered a 7th nomination -- but she probably won't.

Yeah, it would be a crime if Sandra Oh wasn't nominated this year. She was absolutely outstanding in every single episode. I just think people are starting to take her for granted. I'd give either her or Rose Byrne the Emmy this season.

Grammy FYC:
Kanye West, 808s & Heartbreak; Black Eyed Peas, The E.N.D.; John Legend, Evolver; Paolo Nutini, Sunny Side Up; David Guetta, One Love; Kelly Clarkson, "Already Gone"; Jordin Sparks, "Battlefield"; Kings Of Leon, "Use Somebody"; Maxwell, "Pretty Wings"

Wow, yeah! I totally forgot about Rose Byrne! She was also on her game this year; a definite contender in my opinion!

Eh, Rose Byrne's still the weakest link of that cast IMO. She does an adequate job, but I don't know if she's Emmy worthy.

Totally agreed about Sandra Oh though. I think she's gonna be snubbed, and it'll be a shame.
