How funny that Bree thought the sleeping Mexican was Gabby's because they were Hispanic. This was a well-written episode, with so many ironic moments.

^^^Yes, that's what it was! I loved that scene! Very well-written for once. The less hyped episodes usually turn out to be the best.

Looks like next weeks eppy is Edie's final episode. Her co-stars have said that they were impressed with her work in her last episode, so maybe this will be a performance to watch next sunday. I just hope that they don't kill Edie off in some stupid manner. I'm hoping she dies saving the life of someone, so that way her "friends" back on wisteria will realize that she really wasn't a bad woman and that she did in fact care about all of them.

A great comedic episode with tons of fantastic one-liners.

Susan and Jessie were great together and when you add that little girl and the boy who implied he's gay, it's even funnier. And Lee appeared in the right episode.

Lynette dealing with those young candidates, lying about her age and bluffing on her salary were amazing. She and Gabby were also a great team.

My favorite quip of the day was that Carlos didn't tell Gabby that Lucy was his ex-girlfriend because Gabby was near something sharp at the time, a reminder of what had gone down with Bradley and Maria.

Sadly I almost forgot Bree in the episode, but I loved how they shift Orson's klepto onto Gabby's kid. And the sleeping Mexican remark was brilliant.

The next episode is not Edie's last one. From what I heard, an episode after that will be. She will appear in a flashback as a way to pay tribute to her character. I miss her already!

I liked how the writers turned Bree returning everyones items into somthing funnier with the sleeping Mexican.

WILLIAM PETERSEN: Well, this is a shock. The only explanation for this is that somehow in the last year, every one of you tried to act with rubber gloves and tweezers.

Teri Hatcher's scenes with Swoosie Kurtz were strong, and even though the mistaken-for-gay plotline is done so often on shows, it brought out some funny scenes for both of them, like in the wine scene and the "rhino vs. gazelle" scene in the classroom. Lynette working for Carlos to help Gabrielle spy on Carlos's ex-girlfriend is a good way to tie-in their storylines. Bree having to return all of Orson's stolen items was great (Gabrielle's visit being the best one), even though Orson's klepto storyline is still dumb and beneath all involved. I did like his scene with the therapist when he said that this is the one thing that Bree can't control. It's sad seeing this inch one step closer to the end for Edie, and that it has to be wrapped in this lackluster storyline with Dave's mystery. Edie finds out the truth at the last minute (with that fax maybe about Mike), she finds Dave at camp with Mike and Katherine, and somewhere in there she's a casualty in Dave's revenge plot. I hope that the conclusion is more satisfying than that. Other than Dave's thread, a pretty funny episode.

Grade for "The Story of Lucy & Jessie": B+

Great episode...

Susan: I miss seeing Swoosie Kurtz on tv so it was nice to see her...Very good scene in the end...the storyline didn't progress but it doesn't always have too...the story had a good message

Gabrielle: The sleeping mexican was sooo funny, and the end with Lynette was a we-are-friends moment, but it was very well presented with comedic touches. Comedic touches are what housewives is best known for. Her intro with the voice-over was funny too

Lynette: Like mentioned above the final scene was great. Her story wasn't outstanding but it was enjoyable

Bree: That last phrase Orson said, put everything into perspective. The kleptomania makes sense now and we have been seen hints of her control issues throughout the season (which i thought back then where mostly pointless). Now we see what Bree's storyline was building up to.

Dave: Can't wait for next episode (thank god the break starts next week so we will see what happens). Seeing Edie and knowing it's gonna turn out bad for her is heartbreaking.

P.S: The kiss was hot or I am too horny

Overall Grade: A-

I thought this was a strong episode, and it was very funny.

The Gaby/Lynette stuff was great, and their scene on the porch was really well done.

Kurtz and Hatcher made quite a team as well(and those boots lol).

I kind of wished they'd given Sheridan this sneaky stuff all year long, or at least make it a longer arc. She was good tonight, and it's great to see the camping trip get rolling. It will be interesting to see if and how she dies, and the fallout with the rest of the housewives. They've never gotten this close to axing someone that all the core 4 care about before.

With the promos for next week, I'm expecting some bigger than usual ratings. Hopefully right over 15 million?

Grade: A-
MVP: Huffman/Longoria

This was a solid episode and I am hoping the hype for next week's episode is fitting because I haven't been excited to see a Desperate Housewives episode in quite a while until now.

I loved all of the storylines overall. As for the "Orson is a klepto" storyline, I still think it is one of the weakest storylines they have done on this show, but I LOVED how they had Bree go house-to-house to secretly return all of the items Orson stole. I hope this storyline ends soon and that Kyle MacLachlan, if he remains on the show, gets a better storyline than this.

I also think that Longoria-Parker and Chavira are becoming my favorite people on the show. Both have improved a lot since the first couple of seasons and they have been the highlight of the show this season, while Marcia Cross has been a mixed bag. Not her performances (she is still great as always) but her stories aren't the greatest. Hatcher has been getting better lately, and Huffman's stuff switches between good and annoying.

I also will be happy to see Dave go. This may be my least favorite mystery so far, even over the fiasco that was the Applewhites'. I do hope Sheridan will get a proper send off though.

Grade: A-/B+

i used to think that about the klepto storyline...But that last phrase Orsons said, u have to admit, made the story more dimensional. In the beginning the storyline seemed a bit forced, but now it kinda makes sense..do u agree?

This show might have bad writing from time to time, and they might even make a ridiculous decision here and there (Orson steals!!! SUDDENLY!!!)...but what they also have is amazing actors, and incredibly funny too.

I'm no Hatcher (or DH for that matter) fanboy, but the girl can make me laugh like no other. The minute she started dancing with the music she was playing the kids I was already laughing, and the boots were amazing, and that wasn't even her, she did nothing with them. But her faces with the kiss and all, she's hilarious.

Juanita??? Best kid EVER!...I couldn't stop laughing with "Maybe SHE! did it..."

And both McLachlan and Cross were great with the stealing, no matter how awful the storyline is.

Huffman? Incredible with "I'm 54!!!"...

And like others have said, Chavira and specially Longoria have been great all season long.

The cast is really doing a great job. The writing is clearly the problem here. The Dave thing gets worse by the minute and I still can't believe this was the whole mistery, thank God they didn't focus too much on it, they barely included all the characters, I think the fire was the only episode where everybody got affected by Dave. Other than that is McCluskey, Edie and now Mike and Katherine, who seriously, should be killed off, because Dana Delaney is getting NOTHING to do.

I agree. She's naturally hilarious, and whenever the writers give her something funny to do she nails it. I loved when she was drunk.

On another note, I think the worst part of the dave storyline is the fact that they called Lily Tomlin in to put on a weird hat, sit in a waiting room and drink beers, and have a few one liners. I don't think this show has ever wasted a talented actress in such a big way before.

Yes, I do agree that his last line gave the stealing more weight but I still don't think highly of the storyline. If it leads to more interesting and better written stories, then I will let it slide, but for now, I am not the biggest fan of it.
