"My Nah Nah Nah": The tie-in with SportsCenter was fun, and Tim DeKay was good here. It's sad that "Tell Me You Love Me" isn't going anymore, b/c he was so great there and was Emmy-worthy. I liked the way they parallelled the relationship problems with Janitor and Dr. Cox/ Jordan, though Janitor's relationship seemed to come out of nowhere. John C. McGinley and Christa Miller are still a great duo though.
Grade for "My Nah Nah Nah": B
"Their Story II": It was great to see the episode from the interns' perspectives of how they see things, and then having the main group relate to all of that. It reminded me a bit of what "30 Rock" just did with the shifting perspectives storyline. Much funnier episode than the last one, and the janitor cart bit was hilarious.
Grade for "Their Story II": B+

I finally saw "Their Story II" yesterday. I liked it. This is a fun group of interns. I really love Eliza Coupe. Her character is a blast and she is really funny.
Liked seeing the cheerful one actually trying to get the Janitor to mess with her. LOL.
I am wondering when this show is going to start getting into wrap-up mode, though. There aren't that many episodes left.
Should I assume this synopsis about Elliot from tonight's episode is indicating the start of this?

Just watched it online. It was actually pretty good. I actually really enjoyed the presence of the new interns and actually didn't miss JD or the Janitor or Carla or Dr. Cox at all. I loved how the pairing held the episode.
This should be both Sarah Chalke's and Donald Faison's tape. I'd be ok with either getting nominated for this (Though Faison has always deserved nominations.)
The only reason I'll be sad when Scrubs ends is because Eliza Coupe should be on TV more. She should have been on this show years ago.
Grade B+/A-

Yeah, I'm actually really liking the interns. Each one of them brings something special to the show (though Jo, or whatever her name really is, cracks me up to no end).

That was a great episode for them. No J.D. or Dr. Cox was a negative, but Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison made up for their absences for the most part. This was the first time this season where I thought that Sarah Chalke had a real Emmy submission tape. She was excellent here, especially at the end where she contemplates leaving the hosiptal for good if the opportunity arose. Elliot and Turk's reminiscing about being interns was nice, and it reminded me that the show's really ending soon. The interns stepped up to the plate well here. Loved the tough female intern and the black guy getting together, the perky one that had to deal with the gas lady, and the nerdy-looking one with the chronic liar patient and Todd getting jealous over his high-fiving. I could see this group doing a "new class" kind of show if "Scrubs" goes on beyond this season, but they'd need some kind of name actor there to anchor things still.
Grade for "My Full Moon": A-

Ah, yes. *Now* it feels like we are starting to wrap things up.
This was a really nice episode for Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison. It really is too bad Sarah Chalke never got nominated for this role.
These interns really are a lot of fun. I read a piece in which Bill Lawrence said he wanted to give ABC a good group of interns in case they wanted to extend the show after he and Braff left. Job well done, there, even if it ended up not mattering. I am just loving Eliza Coupe. Whew, her character is so funny. And she has such great line delivery. She fits in so well on this show.
I liked this one a lot. Going without each major character twice this season is working out so much better than I thought it would.
PS. Donald Faison told Ausiello at EW that there is some twist in the finale. A twist in the Scrubs finale?? Oh well, I am just so happy that we are even getting a real finale.
My Full Moon was fantastic, and a real high point for this season. All the jokes worked(especially the patient who thought there were impostors) and the HIV case and reminising was really nice. I really liked Chalke's speech at the end(and wow does she deserve an emmy nom). It was good to see how Elliot and Turk felt about their job.
The best part of this episode was of course, the HIV-y.
Synopsis: The Janitor and Lady plan a fake wedding in the Bahamas to score gifts, but the plot backfires when all of the invitees accept.

That was so funny. All of the gags worked, the Bahamas locale was a great change-of-pace, and now I can't wait to see how they conclude this arc with the Janitor and Lady's wedding and a possible roadblock for Elliot and J.D.'s relationship.
Grade for "My Soul on Fire" (Part 1): A

I liked this episode! Even though I still don't like Elliot and JD together. Whatever.
I was glad to see Todd and Ted got to go on this trip. Todd got his degrees from the Bahamas! LOL. I also really love the scenes with Cox and Jordan. Jordan rapping was priceless.
And omg, Barry Williams! I totally loved that Brady Bunch icon running joke. Including JD and Turk's sound effects.
I, too, loved the wedding invitation addressed to "Black Doctor". LOL.
Can't wait to see Janitor get married. Hey, if we see the ceremony, we have to find out his real name, right? And I spied Bill Lawrence in those scenes from next week. I remember him saying he actually plays the minister in the wedding. Hee hee. Fun.
Ok so why aren't all the cast members appearing in every episode this season? I'm catching up on "Scrubs" (I'm in Season 4 or 5 now), but I occasionally watch this new season, too.
DAMN! They may as well should've cancelled it then. That seems like a major sacrifice for a show that nobody's watching (and it probably won't get any Emmy noms either).

Because the show and most importantly, the fans, deserved a proper series finale. I think this season has been hit or miss, but when it hits, it is still one of the best shows on tv. I love the interns as well. I'm ok with some cast members missing from some episodes because we will get a true series finale in the end.
