Does the Emmy panel watch the Top 10 tapes in the supporting categories?
I'm asking because if they do, then I can't see Elizabeth Perkins NOT being nominated. She finally chose a knockout tape that can make her competitive for the win. Supporting Comedy Actress is quite competitive this year and I don't think anyone will get in with a weak tape.
Yes, panels watch the Top 10 supporting episodes. I've just got a feeling that all associated with "Weeds" will be snubbed this year (including Parker and Perkins). Those two categories are overloaded with potential nominees.

Yeah but Perkins got nominated the first season when Parker and the show didn't. Parker submitted a HORRIBLE tape so if she gets in, it'll be on popularity alone. "Weeds" had a weak third season, but Perkins submitted shockingly well.
I know Jean Smart is an Emmy favorite, but "Samantha Who?" isn't a very good show.
Has anyone seen Smart's submission?
And why do I get the feeling that Jenna Fischer's nod last year was a fluke? Is her submission any good this year?
And who has seen the Jaime Pressly/Vanessa Williams submission?
And we can't discount Cheryl Hines, Conchata Ferrell or Holland Taylor. How are there submissions?

I agree.. if the emmys do their "good old" snub thing that is.. Im preety sure that Kirstin Chenoweth will be nominated since emmys love the "bitch/good" sidekick (e.g. Megan Mullaly) and i see Delany (emmy darling) and Vanessa Williams(the one that is the most sure from the "Ugly Betty" crew) joining her..the other two empty spaces im not sure of...

Because in 2006, the supporting categories were based only on popular vote while the lead and series were based on the panel.
And Jenna Ficher's nod wasn't a fluke last year. She even won the GD TV awards right?
FYC EMMY VOTERS!!!
Please consider the following performances:
Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies) Julia Louis Dreyfus (New Adventures of Old Christine) Steve Carell (The Office) Hugh Laurie (House) Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother)
