Toni Collette: I hope the Emmys take my route and give her the damn thing in September, b/c out of all the nominees I thiink she's the most deserving. Tina was good and really came into her own as Liz this yr, but there wasn't a standout performance and I would rather her take Guest Actress instead. The rest are good, but don't compare to Toni's brilliant performance in her Pilot episode.

I voted The Office for best ensemble because whenever I think of an ensemble, it's the first show that comes to mind. The characters are so extreme and I think the best thing about the show is the way it has been able to make them gel, despite this. I don't love the show as much as I used to, but I will always love this group together.

Ensemble was insanely difficult. I struggled between Friday Night Lights and The Office. Ultimately, I think I went with Friday Night Lights since the show is so criminally ignored everywhere. It would be nice to see those group of performers win since they are all so consistently great.
And to answer Boomer's question, the toughest choice for me was Drama Series. Boy, oh boy, oh boy. All GREAT choices. All deserve to win. Hard hard call.
And I agree with everyone else about the toughness of Ensemble too (especially putting Comedy and Drama together). All of these people work well together as an Ensemble, but as someone already mentioned in here, the cast of Friday Night Lights really interacts with each other more than the other casts, so that's why they got my vote.

FNL for Ensemble: Clear and cut winners. There was no contest. All of the other nominees are worthy, but the cast of FNL just own and the characters are relatable and that is brought home by the amazing performances from these underatted thespians (oh yeah I just went there!).
