What is everyone wanting out of this show this season? Me I want the show to focus more on the writers room and the antics that goes on at the show more. I am all for Guest stars, but I don't need a flood of them this season.

I agree with that. I'd also like to see Jack McBrayer's character Kenneth get killed off in the first episode and nobody realizes or cares that he's gone.
Maybe introduce a new character that is just amazing too.
Regina King is out of a job, but if I was her I wouldn't align myself w/that network, but then again this is 30 Rock and it's more Tina's vision than the network.

Finally, "30 Rock" is coming back on the scene again to defend its crown! The opener is supposed to include a pretty scathing condemnation of the state of NBC and the big, bad Jay Leno, so that should be fun. Can't wait for the season premiere!

So far, only Betty White. Buscemi and Arnett will be back too.
I don't mind the guest stars (the show has used most of them well). I just hope they aren't made to be as big of a deal as they were last season when the promos mentioned them and nothing else.

Get rid of Tracey Morgan and Kenneth. Do away with the stupid subplots (like the whole Mexican thing last season, WTF? I can't believe Alec won for that nonsense). Write better for the supporting cast, because sometimes they're not very funny.

Love Betty White.
So Buscemi and Arnett will probably get Emmy nods right? 30 Rock's eating that category with 4 last year and 3 this year. Yet David Schwimmer can't get one for his Cooter role.
See that's the thing with the big stars guesting. They made it revolve around them everywhere. Especially the Oprah episode.
I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

So, this is going to be airing after The Office, right? They aren't going to put it on at 8/7 central, right? Please tell me it is on after The Office. Because I might have to boot Bones off my Tivo if it airs earlier. And that would not make my roommate happy.
Looking forward to it coming back! Saw the promos during The Office and they made me happy!

Anyway, really lookin forward to this. Last year was all about Aniston, Winfrey, Martin, Lively and co coming on as guest stars at this point so I am glad they aren't pimping guest stars this time around and just hoping to wrangle new viewers based on the quality of the show.

Today in my local paper, The Kansas City Star, critic Aaron Barnhart said the Season 4 premiere episode was one of the weakest the series has ever produced. OUCH! Hope this is not a sign of the season to come.

I wouldn't be surprised if it did given the sub-par conclusion to last season. Tina Fey and crew better come strong this year, because the Comedy Race has already begun with [especially] "Modern Family," "The Office," and "Community" and "Cougar Town." Some people even say watch out for Patricia Heaton on "The Middle."

^^^ Don't forget Glee, It has a better shot than all three of those new shows.
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.
