Yeah I like the show. For me right now, I don't really have a favorite. I was really suprised about 2 out of the btm 3 last night, but glad the couple that should have been there was the one that went home.

MARY MURPHY. I can't stand her.
But I still watch the show every week though. Hahaha!
I was sad to see Jonathan go last week. He was one of my early favorites, especially after that "Poker Face" dance. (Never really liked Asuka.)
I'm not enjoying this season all that much. The dancers don't stack up talent or charisma-wise witht he dancers from previous seasons and the judges are more pretentious than ever.
Congrats Kristen! All the PD haters can (SPOILER ALERT) Suck it!
Well, last night, with the girls, it was an absolute given Kayla was going home even before the solos happened. And it was pretty obvious that Vitollio was going home too.
I think it's pretty clear that Brandon is gonna be in the finals. Probably with Jeanine and Randi maybe.
Why is everyone so in love with Melissa and Ade? Out of all the couples, they are the ones I constantly forget are on the show. They are perfectly fine dancers, but aren't interesting at all.
I originally thought Mary Murphy was crazy and annoying...but then I watch So You Think You Can Dance Canada...and I see how utterly boring the judges can be. Nigel and Mary bring so much energy, fun, and laughs to their critiques...while actually giving GREAT technical critique. They are very entertaining to watch, and you can't ask for anything more.

Of course, then there's Cat Deeley who is just insanely charismatic, fun, and clearly cares for the contestants.

I have always thought that Cat Deeley is a phenomenal and sincerely empathetic host. I'm flummoxed as to why she never shows up on any lists for Best Reality Host, because I think she's great.
I totally love this show. This and Project Runway are the only reality shows I watch.
I think the show is very balanced this year. I am not seeing anyone I think is far ahead of everyone else, but I am not seeing a lot of dancers be awful week after week, either.
I'd say right now I really like Janette, Melissa, Brandon and Evan. Love Phillip Chbeeb in his style. Really hoping he can adapt to something else. I think he has a great personality, too.
I thought the performance show this week was obviously rigged against Karla & Vitolio. Nearly everyone else danced in their own style and these two "drew" the Kiss of Death dance? Yeah, there is no way that was random. Actually, I loved their Quickstep. Too bad they got booted after it.
I think Caitlin is the weak link now. She has been messing up since audition week. This week was the only week she was passable and it was in her own style. I actually liked 3 of the girls cut already better than Caitlin. I am hoping she gets cut next. Other than her, I like everyone else.
Edited to add: I, too, really like Cat Deeley as a host. I like that she is so nice and seems to genuinely care about all the contestants.

First...I was wondering about the "dance numbers" too. Brandon and Janette are awesome...but week after week, they've been handed energetic pieces with popular songs. While say, Jason and Caitlin have been handed weird, difficult pieces (Bollywood, Russian dance, weird alien). Oh, and the show does its first ever ballet piece this week...and it just happens to be danced by the ballet dancer of the group, Melissa.
I do agree that Caitlin will probably go next week. They probably won't take 3 blonds into the top 10, and they ain't getting rid of Kayla and Randy. I think Caitlin is a strong dancer...but I think she's been bringing Jason down. I think he's got a ton of potential, but hasn't had a chance to show it.
I wonder who they will cut of the guys. Looks like it's gotta be Jason or Kupono.

I am not going to complain about Brandon and Janette too much. They keep "drawing" outside of their style, and yet they are doing great. I think this is a huge advantage for them.
What really makes this week feel rigged is that pas de deux was choreographed by someone Melissa knows and works with. The Broadway piece was not only "drawn" by Evan, but choreographer Joey Dowling is Randi's favorite dancer and Randi trains at Dowling's mother's studio. Plus, Kayla/Kupono, Phillip/Jeanine and Caitlin/Jason all had extremely favorable draws. I just can't imagine the odds of all those couples randomly drawing in their style and Karla/Vitolio drawing Quickstep. It has be tiny odds. This isn't the first time I have thought the dance assignments weren't random, but it is the most blatant example of rigging I can remember.
Anyway, I too think Caitlin is bringing Jason down. I think he has outdanced her in every routine, and it hasn't even been close. She was way off the beat in the Bollywood. Awful in that hip hop. Pretty bad in the Paso. Passable in this Brian Friedman piece, but he still outdanced her. I was really hoping they would be in the bottom 3 and the judges would send home Caitlin so Jason could get a new partner.
Either way, I doubt both are going to make top 10. I can't see the judges cutting Kupono. And I really think the rest of the girls are far better than Caitlin.
Cat Deeley is pure sunshine. Whenever I do my own personal awards, she's always my winner. She expertly hosts the performance shows, making sure that the judges stay on track and is very quippy. She also makes sure what needs to be said is said: i.e. this week when she herself complimented the choreographer of the pas de deux after the judges failed to.
She also manages to come off completely sincere while interviewing people with disabilities in the audition rounds, never patronizing or pitying. I really love her...if you can't tell.
As for the dancers: my top three girls are Janette, Jeanine, and Melissa. I have to say, the guys are very middle of the road for me. Brandon is obviously the front runner, even though he has the personality of a paper cup and has the goofy smile on his face all the time like he's not all there. Evan and Phillip are really popular too. The talented male (Jason, Vitolio) dancers are just not personable enough for me.
It was so ridiculous that Karla went home last week. Her solo just prove how brilliant of a dancer she is, and it was not her time.
I think the girl's side was overloaded with talent this year, while (with an exception to Brandon and Ade, and maybe Evan) the men have been a little lacking.
I'm pulling for Jeanine and Janette at this point.
I think the next chance the judges have to kick off Philip, they will. Either he or Kupono will go home next.
The girls are tougher. I think they kicked off the strongest girl in week 2. Ashley was most mature and versatile dancer on the show. And she actually KILLED the hip-hop routine the week she was sent home. I'd like for Caitlin to go home next but the judges seem to love her. I also feel that Randi is not necessarily safe.
Anyone else notice that Jeanine and Philip have had hip-hop with Tab and Nap twice? That's half the routines they've done.... not fair at all. If we learned anything this week, it's that they don't "draw their styles out of a hat". C'mon don't give us that BS.
Something I think Simon Cowell should take note of...is how good of a judge Nigel is. He is very honest, without being mean. He also has new things to say instead of using the same 5 or 6 lines over again like Simon (indulgent, cruise ship singer, etc.)
And I have to say I agree about Cat...she is the best host of a reality competition IMO

Slam, I agree with you about Ashley. I was so mad when they sent her home. I thought she was great. She was freaking fantastic in Wade's piece in week 1. She was the only one of the four dancers doing Shane Sparks routines that week who actually performed well. Plus, she killed in Mia's group routine that night. Caitlin had been weak, weak, and more weak. She was particularly awful that week. yet, she was kept and Ashley went home. Yuck. My least favorite elimination in a while.
Some details are leaking about the 100th episode. Mostly courtesy of Twitter. How much of a spoiler can it be if it is on Twitter?
Anyway, it looks like favorite dances of past seasons are being recreated. Travis Wall said on Twitter that he went to the studio to record Mia Michael's Season 2 Emmy-winning "Bench" routine with Heidi. He also said he had performed Wade Robson's Season 2 Emmy-winning "Ramalama" routine. There is a rumor that Hok and Jaimie will also re-do Wade's other Emmy routine, Season 3's "Hummingbird and the Flower". Haven't heard anything else.
It looks like Wade Robson will actually be dancing on the show for the Michael Jackson tribute.

Great performance show tonight. I don't envy the judges having to cut 2 dancers before the top 10. Let's start with the girls who aren't going anywhere... Janette, Janine. I mean, the judges flat out said tonight that those 2 aren't going anywhere.
It seems fairly likely that they won't cut Kayla since they love her so much.
So that leaves Caitlin, Randi, and Melissa. I'd put my money on Caitlin...but she has to hit the bottom 3. If she doesn't...then all bets are off.
Guy-wise, obviously, Brandon isn't going anywhere. He's probably gonna win this whole thing. And Ade is gonna make top 10 too.
Other than that, it's tough. I think they should cut Phillip (who is really starting to show his lack of range compared to the other male dancers) or Kupono. Kupono has done well with Kayla...but I see him faltering again once he's put with different partners. I think this was possibly Jason's best night, and I would love to see him have new partners because I think he could totally soar (I'd love to see him and Janine together). I could see Evan going home as well...but it's a really tough call. Especially since it's hard to even tell who will be in the bottom 3 since almost every dancer has been in the bottom 3 at some point.

I thought Janette & Brandon were the best couple of the night, but my favorite routine by a mile was the Kupono & Kayla "Addiction" routine. I loved it and was suprised the judges didn't like it more. I saw the excellent expressions on both Kupono & Kayla's faces and they really drew me in.
As for who should go home, I think Philip should for the guys. Yes he is improving, but the other guys are just better dancers. It wouldn't suprise me if it was Jason (even though he was pretty good last night) because I agree with Nigel that he & Caitlin don't have much chemistry. I would say Evan, but I think he is popular enough that they won't be in the bottom 3. Ade is a good dancer, but he isn't standing out personality wise, so he could be in danger. I don't think Kupono or Brandon should go, but I have a gut feeling that Kupono might be in danger.
As for the girls...my only choice would be Caitlin as I think the others all deserve to be in the top 5. Not that Caitlin is a bad dancer she just doesn't stand out for me.
I do have to say that right now nobody is really standing out for me as a clear winner. Last season Joshua stood out early on for me. I'm just not getting that from anyone this season
