SYTYCD season 4 got four Emmy nominations in choreography. It also got nominated for makeup for the Top 10 shows. Can't understand why DWTS and their host can get nominated but not this show or Cat Deeley. Sigh.

This is going to be a very interesting results show as it seems as though viewers didn't buy into the "cancer" piece as much as the judges did...so maybe my assumption that Melissa and Ade would be safe because of that number isn't as likely as I thought.

Here's hoping Brandon and Jason are safe.

Yikes. It's interesting seeing other people's opinions. I love Evan to pieces, but I definitely can't support him not going home tonight, and called to vote for all the other guys. Ade seems so lovable, it's a shame he doesn't have a stronger fanbase.

The magnitude of the cancer piece was overstated a bit, but it was emotionally powerful and wonderfully performed, I thought. Melissa's emotional connection to that totally won me over and made me vote for her (and Janette, who, despite being partnered with Evan, came across to me as the strongest dancer last night).

My poor Janette! It was horrific to see her go home (and with Kayla rounding out the bottom two), but that's what happens when stupid judges over-praise an average dance. Melissa should be thanking her lucky stars, because it was her time.

Speaking of which, how is Evan still here? And never even in the bottom two? One of these days, I will get revenge on all those crazy tweenage bimbos who ravenously vote for whoever they think is cute.

Devastating! Janette so didn't deserve it. Looks like I was totally wrong!

I hear you on Melissa, I think she's overrated and boring. She made it through on the strength of that last dance and Tyce Dioro's (sp?) compelling and emotional choreography.

However, I have to disagree about Evan. And I'm not even a teenage girl! haha. For me, Evan is a throwback to 'Singin' In The Rain' era dance. A real Broadway/vaudeville style that the show really hasn't seen. I think he is great counter programming to the rest of the male dancers in the top 10 this year who are all RIDICULOUSLY talented, but kind of represent the same style of dance and therefore kind of cancel one another out. I think Evan will be in the final 4. Doubt he'll win, but I bet he makes it to the finale.

Wow, brutal results. It's gonna put a sour taste in my mouth for the rest of the season that Jason and Janette are gone before people like Evan and Melissa.
Yeah, the judges should really keep their comments in check because things like this can happen.
Now I'm gonna be completely hating on Melissa and Evan til they are gone.
If Brandon or Janine don't win this, it'll be ridiculous.

Horrid results! The best dancer, Janette, goes home too early and Jason goes home on his best night. Evan continues to be bulletproof, not even in the bottom two- shocking!, while he can drag down better dancers who are paired with him.

This is becoming even more of a popularity contest than I was expecting. I expect Evan to be in the final two with Jeanine. Hopefully fans of the other better dancers will coalesce around Jeanine, I hope and pray, and she will win. I feel that will happen as I do not see Evan's base of nutty fans growing.

This sucked. This was one of the worst eliminations in the history of the show. Why is it *my* favorite dancer never wins? Poor Janette. She was far and away my favorite dancer this season. Pathetic.

It is so so so wrong that Evan continues to skate by. The only dancer never to hit the bottom?? RIDICULOUS. I thought he was really fun during auditions. I was hoping he would come in and blow everyone away. But he has been a huge disappointment. He isn't at all versatile. Cannot dance with any sexiness or passion or strength. All he has is that one smooth style. Pitiful. I am really afraid he is going to win. Blech.

OMG. I was rooting for two people and they were the ones that went home. Why does America continue to suck???

The show has officially lost all credibility with me (well, this season I mean). It's not about the dancing, it's about popularity. How else would you explain Jason and Janette going home when they were the best male and female performers of the week, respectively. Makes no sense.

At this point, I'm indifferent as to who wins. This sucks!

Well apparently Ade has been added to the "Hacked Nude Photos List". The photos are very interesting and strategically posted a week before the final round of the competition.

Actually, guys were little briefs on the show all the time.

Nigel's comment off the top of the show that "no stars have emerged this season" resonated with me for the rest of the show.

Only Brandon and Kayla really nailed it tonight. Janine really disappointed. With Janette gone, this was her opportunity to really become the frontrunner...but while she was fine tonight, she didn't explode. She was just decent. This was probably her weakest night ever for me.

There's really not much to say about Melissa and Evan. Both their routines were extremely weak. Their broadway routine was weak mainly because of Tyce's choreography. That guy drops the ball a lot. I think he's my least favourite choreographer.
But yeah, Melissa and Evan just seem like they've stuck around too long. They both should be gone.
I'm fairly confident that Melissa will get the boot tomorrow, but who the hell knows when it comes to the guys.

But after this performance show, Brandon should easily win this.

I was a Jeanette supporter and now I am a Brandon man all the way. He is by far the strongest dancer left in the competition and the only one who always scores with his solos. I only voted for him last night so my vote would not be diluted... though I considered throwing some votes to Kayla who was very ON last night.

I hope Evan finally gets the boot but the judges were nicer to him then they should be on the Broadway number. I found his mugging annoying and too, too much. I did not find it be delightful character work. Plus I thought the dance was lame.

With Janette and Jason gone I couldn't care less who wins this season. I just wanted to say Evan has a great butt.

I have to watch another week with Evan??? Watching him dance is like watching paint dry.

I'm so glad Kayla and Brandon are in the finale. They are the 2 best dancers this season, and I'm hoping they win next week. They are the only 2 who never seem to have a bad night.

Janine is on and off for me. Last week her Battlefield number was superb. This week she was just ok throughout.

Evan, well he's a cutie. Not much else unfortunately.
