$39.98 seems a bit much for 13 episodes unless when it says it includes the music it is talking about an actual CD of the music. I read somewhere that if you buy this they were going to offer a discount for purchase of the full season...anyone know how much that discount will be? My immediate reaction is just to wait and buy this when the whole season is available

You aren't getting the point...you say that it is racist because the supporting characters who aren't white don't get enough to do (or should be the leads) but how do you explain the fact that there are white characters/actors that are in that same boat as them?
It just seems silly to call out this show for racism A. when they are making an effort to do so
Also Tina in no way wiped the floor with Rachel on that song...and I still think it is ridiculous that you bring Mike up as a cast member when really he is a glorified extra. I'll give you that Mercedes is an excellent singer, but her acting has yet to prove she could handle a lead roll.
No it's you who is not getting the point since you're defending the racism on glee. As you mentioned there are white characters not getting solos, BUT MAJORITY of the solos are being given to WHITE characters/actors. Don't you get it?
Yet they are untalented compared to the racial minorities who get very few solos (Mercedes), one solo for Tina or no solo at all with Mike. Have you not watched Mike's moves? He can dance a lot better than dumb jock, the jock that skanky Rachel used to substitute for the dumb jock and Mr. Schuster. Amber Reily can outsing and outact any of the girls, while the actress that plays Tina outsang Lea Michelle when they sang the same song. Tina wiped the floor with Rachel, but Rachel gets the lead because she's white, along with all the other people getting the leads bec. they're white.
Glee is not "making the effort" by relegating racial minorities in the background. Whoopee, give Glee an award for putting the racial minorities in the background and giving MAJORITy of the solos to white folks who can;t sing, dance or act. How racist.

Oh great, if Sue Sylvester, who hates the Glee club and hates the singing in it gets to sing before Mike does, or before Tina gets her 2nd solo, then that will be further proof of the racism on glee.
The other jock already got his Sweet Caroline solo, and he sang for acafellas. Emma, who's not even in Glee, got her solo.

I just listened to the Glee version of Defying Gravity. It was pretty but it had no b*lls. I will have to hear it in context with the script to decide on it for sure. We all missed it being on this week at my house.

Kevin McHale's version of "Dancing With Myself" is fantastic. It's probably the most original cover this show has done.

If you're not comfortable with discussions about how racist certain scenes in films are, and how racist Glee is, then that's your problem. Speaking of crazy, that would be you, and most especially Missy the psycho.
What's crazier is that Sue Sylvester, who hates Glee, has already gotten a dance number with Mr.Schuster of all people? And it wasn;t a fantasy sequence.
Yet Mike, who can dance better than the white jocks and Schu, has no dance solo. And Tina still has 1 song solo. And Mercedes is underutilizued at best. Can you spell racism?

Looks like the album will debut in 120-125K range next week and finish in 2nd or 3rd behind Carrie Underwood's album. Those sells are pretty good. I really thought they would be less given that you can already buy all of the songs on itunes
