Post information about upcoming SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE programs (hosts, musical guests, etc.) in this thread. You can also offer your weekly reviews for each episode.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23: Guest Host: Tina Fey (confirmed) Musical Guest: Carrie Underwood (confirmed)
SATURDAY, MARCH 1: Guest Host: Ellen Page (confirmed) Musical Guest: Wilco (confirmed)
I'm thinking for mid-April, Kristen Bell would be an absolute NATURAL to host SNL; she's got Forgetting Sarah Marshall out around that time, she's on an NBC show, and most important of all, she's got actual talent.
Make it happen, NBC!

Also, I don't expect Maya Rudolph will be on the February 23 show. She should be in the L.A. area that weekend for the Oscars along with Paul Thomas Anderson. That is just an educated guess, though.
i so can't wait for tina fey and ellen page! this is gonna be so awesome!

It'll be so weird seeing Tina Fey on SNL as a host... I was never a big fan of hers in sketches (the very few she did), but since I believe her acting got a lot better since she left SNL, I think it'll be interesting.
I wish Amy Adams would host SNL on the 8th. She's filming in New York (so it's easy), she has "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day" coming out on the 7th and is great at comedy. I think she would make an amazing host. I would love to see an "Enchanted" sketch.

The other one says, "Yeah, I know; and such small portions." Well, that's essentially how I feel about life - full of loneliness, and misery, and suffering, and unhappiness, and it's all over much too quickly. The... the other important joke, for me, is one that's usually attributed to Groucho Marx; but, I think it appears originally in Freud's "Wit and Its Relation to the Unconscious," and it goes like this - I'm paraphrasing - um, "I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member." That's the key joke of my adult life, in terms of my relationships with women. " - Alvy Singer
I am so happy that the writer's strike has ended and SNL is coming back! Tina will make a great host, and I would expect a Weekend Update appearance from her. Casey Wilson, (or Casey Rose Wilson) has been added to the cast as a featured player and is expected to make her debut on the Feb.23 episode. This move probably means that either Maya, Amy, or both will leave at the end of the season. I'm glad they found someone now instead of waiting until the summer--which will give Casey some experience. Anyway, I'm thrilled that SNL is coming back, and look forward to Tina hosting on the 23rd.
Wasn't Carrie Underwood on the show the other day? Anyway, great news that Tina's been confirmed!
I remember one time when she said that she wasn't big enough to host the show and they they would only invite her if someone cancelled last minute. LOL

No, Pizzatarian. I think the last time Carrie was on the SNL was when Peyton Manning was hosting the show.
