The Serena-dad bit's just annoying the heck outta me, though still not quite as much as that terrible actor who plays Nate. Brownie points however to Dan and Vanessa for being more tolerable then usual this season. The Blair, Georgina stuff was aces but we really need to have a dark, crazy arc, I think this show has the potential to go there and the cast can most certainly handle it (save for Nate actor); not asking for Nip/Tuck crazy, just a risky unexpected plot.
"Deadwood was defiantly and noisily unlike anything else on television.", Tom Shales "It’s very rare to see a television show that revolves around three generations of strong, smart, opinionated women, let alone one that was so well written and acted...Gilmore Girls! TV is going to be a lot less witty without you", Roxanne Connolly
90210 is surprisingly better...it's interesting, Josh and Stephanie really can't carry a show beyond one season. At least not a teen show because I hear Chuck is quite good. Season 1 Gossip Girl was amazing, and then...nothing.
I think that Nate's time has come. When he shows up, that's when you remember the guy exists, he's not even with the rest of the characters, even Eric and Jenny are on the background...
Nate is not needed at all.
These episodes have been a little bit boring, nothing compares to the horrible first episode of this season, but a little boring. They need to step it up...
I don't even watch this show, but I heard Kevin Zegers (Transamerica) is joining the cast for a few episodes, I will be tuning in for that!
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.
Episode 3.4: Dan de Fleurette Guest stars: Hilary Duff, Tyra Banks Written by John Stephens; directed by Mark Piznarski
Jenny the Queen Bee; she thinks it has a nice ring to it as a new school year begins at Constance Billard. But why is Blair major league-jonesing to help out at the place where she graduated from? At NYU, Vanessa gets assigned a roommate she least expects - a Hollywood movie star looking to have a relatively normal college education.

Hilary Duff was actually good and fit in well...I agree about Nate, Jenny and Eric, they should be reduced to guest star status. Although I think Eric already is, Lily's role should be increased though...she's Betty Draper 2009. Chace Crawford is just not good, I can't believe he and Blake Lively are the highest paid.
The writing actually in the freshmen where blair rallies her troops at the end was actually ok, and the scene could have been dark if leighton meester could actually act.
This show would be worlds better if it was written and acted out as a dark comedy.
instead it's a hybrid of a bad soap and a fashion magazine. Tyra banks and hillary duff are awful actresses.

Episode 3.5: Rufus Getting Married Written by Leila Gerstein; directed by Ron Fortunato
Lily and Rufus move up their wedding day, unknowing to the fact something - or someone - is on the horizon ready to lay waste to it. Chuck uncovers Carter's secret. Episode 3.6: Enough About Eve Written by Jake Coburn; directed by John Stephens
Vanessa is really desperate to earn her mom's approval. So she tag-teams with Blair to do the honor of delivering the freshman toast at NYU. But every favor with La Waldorf has a price. Dan takes Olivia to meet Rufus and Lily, which may not be one of his better ideas. Meanwhile, Serena and Nate team up to help Carter.

Hillary Duff was her usual awful self. And I'm sorry but the clothes they put her in are unflattering. Eric Daman's styling choices are usually off kilter, but this was not good.
Gina Torres voiced Vixen on Justice League Unlimited.
When does Hillary Duff leave? GG's writers are hilarious to cast her and Tyra Banks as Academy Award vying actresses! LOL!
Chuck kissed a guy! Great!
The acting is pretty terrible on this show, so it's really just a fashion spread. But Kelly Rutherford's actingn was good the previous ep when lily convinced her missing child to stay.
Episode 3.7: How to Succeed In Bassness Written by Sara Nemeth Goodman; directed by Joe Lazarov
Chuck's branching out into the hotel business and coaxes Serena to help him get the word out. But that won't stop Blair from assisting on the sly. Dan gets nervous after watching one of Olivia's infamous sex scenes with her co-star and (then) boyfriend. Jenny is forced to choose between Eric and her new role as Queen Bee.

Episode 3.8: The Grandfather, Part 2 Written by Lenn Rosenfield; directed by Mark Piznarski
Olivia guest stars on ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’, says something she later regrets and then tries to hide it from Dan. With election day on the horizon, Nate suspects his grandfather will do anything, and we do mean *anything* to get Trip into Congress.

I don't know what to think about this show. The first season was brilliant, the second one was a big let-dow and now the third is beyond awful. It's not even a guilty pleasure anymore. I have a feeling it will get a fourth season, but it's going to be their last. On the other hand I have 90210 which is absolutely amazing! This is the show to watch.
Episode 3.9: They Shoot Humphreys, Don’t They? Written by Amands Lasher; directed by Alison McLean
Jenny’s got big dreams for a 16 year-old; she wants to extend her Queen Bee dominion only to the entire upper east side. What’s the catalyst for this change of plan? She’s got the hottest escort for the annual Cotillion dinner/dance.
And there's the little matter of the number 3 tonight that has the Parents Television Council's nuts in a knot.
