I watched since the reviews were good for the first ep, and since I DROPPED Glee after its craptastic eps, I gave DH a chance.
It was alright, not as strong as everyone claims it to be. Lynette/Tom been there done that with the unborn babies. Gabi dealing with a wildchild version of herself is boring since no one cares about this girl and ELP can't bring the dramatic scenes. The only thing great about Bree/Orson/Karl is Karl's shirtless scene. They've really lost touch with Bree, Lynette and Gabi. And the new housewife, hubby and troubled teen are a bore. Julie should be back full time to keep Susan in line, but she shouldn't be killed off.
Have Lynette deal with her teen children instead of a pregnancy again. If she doesn't care for those children, why should the audience? Have Gabi deal with her daughters instead of this teen portrayed by a terrible actress. It's rather interesting for traditional family values Bree to have an affair, and Susan's reaction to her affair with Karl has potential.
But seriously Dana Delaney's psychotic Katherine vs. dizzy Susan is the only really solidly good thing about the ep. Smart move to pair Susan and Mike instead of stretch out their reunion, and it's great to make Katherine this crazed, scorned woman. Susan needed a foil since they killed off Edie, and Susan and Katherine must get into a catfight.
And how annoying is the gay neighbor now being a realtor? He's such a bad actor.

Being an insanely plugged-in member of this biz called show has its disadvantages. Case in point: I just found out that one of my favorite on-screen duos doesn’t get along in real life. Truth be told, they despise each other, and it’s causing serious conflict on the set.
According to a well-placed insider on this unnamed smash hit, the male half of this twosome claims his leading lady is unprofessional and extremely difficult to work with. Even worse, he has accused her of behaving “inappropriately” at times. He’s made it known to TPTB that he doesn’t want to be in scenes with her, least of all love scenes.
But there’s no getting around those anytime soon. “They told him the love scenes are unavoidable,” says my spy. “Their characters are supposed to be having a torrid affair.”
Agents for the pair are attempting to defuse the situation by promising to make sure both actors maintain professional standards in future scenes.
Care to guess the identity of the quarreling lovers? Head to the comments!
Most people pretty much agree that they are Richard Burgi and Marcia Cross.
I highly doubt that, his position on that show isn't as strong as hers. Why would he shoot himself in a foot? Their on-screen romance can finish anytime. Besides I can't see anyone saying that Marcia Cross is "unprofessional and extremely difficult to work with". She seems to be beloved on DH set.
I don't believe it's anyone from that show.

OMG, those people on grey's anatomy need to get their crap together.
It's obvious it's either Grey's or Brother's and Sister's, although after it's track record I would say Grey's.
Also, there has been rumored tension since Season 1 on the set of DH. It's been speculated that Marcia and Teri do not get along and that's why you hardly see them together, on the show, pictures, publicity things etc.

At first I thought it was Burgi and Cross but it can't be. If he didn't want to be in scenes with her then he wouldn't be on the show.
I don't watch/haven't seen most of those other shows. Does anyone know what regulars are having affairs on those shows?
I know it can't be B&S since no one is having an affair on that show. Same with How I Met Your Mother. Scrubs isn't a smash hit so that would disqualify it. And I wouldn't count Lost since even when their characters are sleeping together we don't see much of it.
Anyone else have any guess based on the other shows.
How is it Grey's, which characters are having an affair on Grey's. No one.
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.
The leads on "Castle" are said to quite hate one another. It's not a "smash hit" though, and I don't know about their characters having a "torrid affair" or not, but I have a hard time believing that it's anyone from "Desperate Housewives."
Congratulations, Primetime Emmy Winners!

These are possible shows where their stars don't get along. Sorry for not being clear in the first place.
I don't know if "leading lady" means something here. There are lots of leading ladies on other shows out there, but it keeps reminding me of Desperate Housewives.
Back to Vanity Fair's swimsuit photoshoot incident, was it Marcia Cross who started picking a fight with Teri Hatcher on not wanting Hatcher to be the center of the picture and to choose the dress first?
Marcia Cross is sure loved and respected by Eva Longoria Parker and Felicity Huffman. But for others, anything possible.
It's not Marcia Cross. Marcia was on a talk show in the past few months and mentioned how she loved that she was getting to play something a little more spicy with Richard Burgi. She did give a shout-out to Kyle Maclachlan as well saying that she loved him too.

That's not even how the incident went down. It's amazing how stories get so twisted.

It's not just Eva and Felicity who love Marcia. Other cast members have spoke about their admiration for Marcia. Ricardo Antonio Chivara (Carlos) said a few years back that Marcia was the most special woman that he ever had the honor of being in the presence of.

"Housewives" scoop: Kathy Najimy is Susan's latest rival by Michael Ausiello
Actress-comedienne Kathy Najimy is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of "Desperate Housewives" as a police officer with a surprising connection to Teri Hatcher’s Susan.
“Susan suspects Katherine was the one who attacked Julie, so she gets [a cop] to help her,” explains "Housewives" creator Marc Cherry. “But then she finds out the policewoman went to high school with her — and Susan stole her boyfriend, too! So [Najimy] has been going around the past 30 years resenting her.”
Najimy’s episode is slated to air in late October.

Also I would add when Tuc Watkins was on The Wendy Williams Show a few weeks ago - Wendy who is a HUGE fan of DH - asked Tuc for the behind the scenes scoop on the ladies - and while he had nice things to say about each of them it was obvious that Marcia left the biggest impression on him.
He even said she was the funniest of all the ladies on the set - citing that Marcia is the type of person who is very funny in the kind of way where she does not actually know how funny she is when she says and does something funny. It's like she is soo funny in the things she says and does that she never realizes just how truly funny she was.
And does anyone else think the feuding co-stars maybe from "Private Practice". I'll admit that I don't generally watch that show but every time I sneak a peek it always seem like someone is having an affair on that show.

I can't believe that there's only a single thread for DH the whole season and people are fighting again the rumored issues of the DH cast. This is not Season 1 people.
I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

Really, wow. That's cool. I'm a big fan of Marcia's. I'm curious, what else did he say? Do you know where it's possible to view his interview.
Also, Dana Delaney also interviewed to say that out of all the DH ladies, she's closest to Marcia because she's very sweet and wonderful, and went as far as to say that they're having a "love affair". Haha.
Other than the Vanity Fair incident, I've never heard of Marcia Cross being unprofessional. And I'm pretty sure that was just one big misunderstanding.
