-- Really, among all shows right now, Desperate Housewives has consistently given us excellent season premieres. Dana Delany's Katherine Mayfair is delightful in all of her scenes and I could definitely see her as Bree. But of course, Marcia Cross has aced that in spades. Bree Hodge is back people, watch out! One thing I despised about the episode was the crack about med schools in the Philippines. I mean I am a Filipino and I know for a fact that med schools here are great. Is that quip really necessary?

• 1-01 Pilot - A-
-- I loved the pilot, this got to be one of my favorite new shows this season and I'm sure I'll be keeping tabs of it and following through the whole season. I love the whole campy, soap-opera-ish feel to it. The pilot perfectly introduced us to each darling and what their main issues are. Peter Krause is fantastic, as usual. But what surprised me in this episode is Samaire Armstrong. From an Idol reject to The O.C to this. She's perfect for her role and I'll be looking forward to more of her. Another great ABC show.

-- I know, I know. SOme will say another CW teen show. And with Josh Schwartz at the helm, expect over the top teen drama. But no. You'll be pleasantly surprised. The pilot was great and surpassed my expectations (though they were quite high already and I was anticipating to be letdown). Though acting wise, nothing was Emmy worthy but everyone ranged from good (Leighton Meester) to doable (Chace Crawford). Great music, perfect setting, witty dialogue. And Kristen Bell. Enough said.

The telenovela start is so Ugly Betty And America Ferrera is still delightful as Betty Suarez. But the real MVPs in this episode are Vanessa WIlliams (for being deliciously evil as Wilhemina Slater) and Ana Ortiz (for her honest potrayal of grief)
