Not sure what's the proper forum for this, but has anyone voted for this before?

http://www.peopleschoice.com/pca/

The nominees are pretty lame, but kinda amusing.

Nominations will be announced on 11/10, with the awards in January. It's not looking particularly memorable this go-round.

Favourite Independent Movie...
17 Again? He's Just Not That Into You? Inglorious Bastards? The Time Traveller's Wife? Taken?

And I love how apparently females aren't comedic as no ladies are in the "Favourite Comedic Star" category. Sandra Bullock?

"Your opinion matters."

Oh, I see. So I can say that these choices are awful and you would take me seriously? Yeah, I didn't think so.

TV Drama has one of the WORST Top 12's I've ever seen in my life.

This really shows the disconnect between what "the people" watch and what are the real quality shows on television. I mean re: the choices for Television Drama.

24
Brothers & Sisters
Criminal Minds
CSI
CSI: Miami
Grey's Anatomy
House
L&O: SVU
Lie To Me
Lost
The Mentalist
NCIS

Wow. This has been one of the greatest decades for television drama. Last year had some amazing drama on television. But, these are the people's choice nominees. The relatively weak season of "House" looks like a strong contender here. I despair for the state of network drama.

I guess you are not alone. That's why it seems so empty because all the great dramas are on cable now. Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Damages, Dexter etc.

I hope The Office wins as Best Comedy Series for this year's Emmy Awards.

It's very depressing when I think about it for any amount of time.

The taste of the general public is depressing.

The Drama Series Actress line-up is one of the most gag-acious things I've seen lately.

Hemingway once told a friend he was considering giving up writing. "But Ernest," the friend protested. "You love writing!" "No," corrected Hemingway. "I love having written."

This is a good list, save for drama actress, which just stinks from one end of America to the other. Nice to see NCIS (and Mark Harmon) get recognized in the midst of its ratings rise to the primetime summit. Lost, HIMYM, Vampire Diaries, V, Glee, Cougar Town...there's a lot to write home about. Weird that the 7-time Emmy winner Amazing Race isn't in the competition category.

The bad; Heroes, PCA's? Seriously? And since you did go back to November 2008 in the eligibility period (Twilight), a tip of the hat to BSG would have been nice in Sci-Fi/Fantasy. But this is Lost's award to lose. Blake Lively? Amy Poehler? If you say so, guys.
