If this is true, Y&R is regrouping and putting in place some heavy hitters to get it back on track.

I'm feeling a little more optimistic as the days go on, so we'll see.

Paul Rauch must be like 85.

So, folks over at General Thugspital, fork over that Drama Series Emmy and bring it to Springfield, where it truly belongs!

wow that is a pretty big get. good for you Y&R. Paul Raunch knows soap operas and is largely responsible for some of the greatest stories in the greatest era of soap opera. he was writing OLTL during one of it's greatest periods of time.

Ron Carvalit, you are my hero!

No offense to Paul Rauch - but I think Josh Griffith is doing a good job. I'd like to see him stay and reach his potential. I'm so sick of this musical chair behind the scenes. Must be hard to do your job when you know that Bloom is basically just gunning for you to screw up and replace you at the first chance she gets.

I agree. I think JG is doing a fine job. I hope BB leaves him alone. Her meddling has gotten the show in enough trouble. Someone needs to put that dog back in her cage.

If Sidney Lumet can still produce good work; Paul Rauch can too.

My sources were right — she is trying to get him out. LOVE Josh, but if it's going to be anyone to replace him, I'm GLAD it's Paul Rauch!

That's sad. Don't they realize its her incompetent a*s*s that hurt the show? I hope that woman gets her walking papers before she does more damage to that network.

Like I've posted earlier Bloom is trying to pass the buck and making Griffith the scape goat.

No DWJP, it's your fault for hiring your BFF's as EP/HW upchuck and PR for ruining your network (I'm tlkn about Y&R & GL in particular).

Well hopefully Griffith can go to AMC (still think that JHC should go even though the show is watchable again) or GH (JFP should never work in Daytime again and should've been showed the door yesterday, but I don't see that happening since she won them all those Emmys since she's been there).

Seriously I hope Griffith finds work soon if he is shown the door.

If they're going to hire a former daytime EP, why not John Conboy? He knows the show. He would work well with the show's technical aspects and he improved GL's ratings and demos until he was fired and replaced by Olive Oyl of the Jill Farren Phelps tribe.

That was a typo on my part.
Its DWJCP (The Devil Wears JCPenny).
That what I "lovingly" call Barbara Bloom (CBSD President).
Here's a link to the pic. so you can get the effect of my pet name
