i just read recently that he had until sweeps to turn things around. is this true? i really hope it isnt because the last two people to headwrite for gh other than guza have been bad. mctravish was really bad and wolf just made everything too fast-paced with sloppy story-telling. also frons has his way with the new headwriter which means we would see more of the whole hospital crap, which to me is no reflection whatsoever of the old days there. they will also return heavy airtime to liz. lucky, and sam as well as make nadine a bigger importance on the show, who is really played by an average actress similar to tava smiley and a bad imitation of erin hershey pressley. carly would be reduced to two or three days a week. this is what frons truly wants and if guza leaves, he will get it. good thing is that guza is more than likely going to have something big by sweeps. its better for guza to write than for frons to have complete control. we wont see such emmy worthy performances either with him gone.

I thought McTavish's tenure at GH was bad, but I still found it watchable and she wrote for the entire cast not just a handful. You know a show sucks when McTavish's work is better than what's on air now.
