We Love Soaps, is reporting that Don Diamont has been cast as Bill Spencer, Jr, brother to the late Caroline Spencer and is going to start airing in May.
This show loses more and more credibility by the week, however you look at it this is a bad move, you know they'll use him for one month tops then he'll be the next Lesli Kay, Eileen Davidson etc
I hate when this show hires actors from their sister show, it loses the credibility for cross over possibilities
Well if this means I actually get to see an actual 'Brad' and 'Victoria' pairing then I might tune in. Cos Don Diamont and Heather Tom had awesome chemistry on Y&R even though they never really explored the romantic pairing until after Heather had left the show.

U guys are the best posters in soaps. All my sentiments exactly. I love how cynical and realistic we are when it comes to B&B. But I'm happy about this casting news.
I said this was going to happen....and i am glad Diamont will be back on daytime, but i know Brad Bell...so i am very afraid.
Let's just hope Martha Byrne will pen this story!
Nelson, where in the hell is Jack Smith these days?? B&B needs him.
I say make Bill Spencer Jr, gay...but not before Felicia, Brooke and every other woman in LA falls for him...only to find out he's in love with Thorne!

Yup - Heather Tom & Don Diamont did have some interesting chemistry on Y&R but 'Victoria' & 'Brad' weren't paired up until Tom left...so there may be something there to explore??? I'm still hoping for a Rick Hearst-Heather Tom pairing...on any soap (but preferably Y&R)!
Brad is so going to pair Don with Heather. Bad move. I wouldn't screw her with my dog's penis. Oh, no, I didn't! You just know he's planning that. Don needs to be with Lesli. Hot. She's a mini-Steph and as we all know Bill loved Steph while she loved Eric who loved Beth. Perfect.
I always thought Diamont belonged on a soap like BB. I know most of you want a Kay/Diamont pairing but I'm looking forward to him crossing paths with Tylo.
Maybe Bell learned his mistake with Davidson and will do better with Diamont. Maybe?

Bell has to get over his fascination with Ronn Moss in order to give Diamont any screen time. Wagner has been backburnered for a long time, Lowder is always around and so is McCook. But B&B needs to expand the male quotent of the show without using another Forrester. Can you see Brooke falling for Bill, Jr.? I'm sure he will be her new destiny because it's only a matter of time before she and Ridge fall apart AGAIN. She can't go running back to Nick, hopefully.
GIVE MERYL #3!!!!

I am glad that Don is working again b/c toward the end he won me over as Brad on Y&R. And to see him in a new role is great even though the show is in creativeness hell! Hopefully he brings a much needed punch to the show and he and Lesli Kay would be HOT!

And i wonder how long it's going take for Jack Wagner to get fed up with his lack of airtime (it has given him, however, time off to take care of Heather).
B&B has fast become R&R (The Ridge and Rick Show). I'm so over it!
And Nelson, i have to disagree with you...i see Braddy pairing Diamont with Lang....she is due for a new love interest....but i think he'll also throw Kay in there for a triangle. If Kay is denied a Lead story and a love interest this time around, i think she will walk...and i don't blame her.
Meh. I might sound cynical but I wasn't all up in arms when Don got fired. This guy was making a **** load of money and in this current economy I've seen many people who don't even make a fraction of what he does get laid off (in some cases unjustly so). And now look, he's already landed another role. Go figure!

I agree. He was never a very good actor either. If they had to get rid of a highly paid vet, he was the right one. There was spec it would be Doug Davidson who has much more talent IMO. They gave Brad a very good sendoff... I actually like the character more now than when he was alive lol.
