For those of you whose names are not listed as having DVDS shipped just yet, don't worry they will be, one list of contact information had been placed in a seperate word folder that i had not sent to Tom with the first batch by mistake, but all the contact information has now been sent and Tom will be able to send you the DVDS. The way it's working this year is that Tom is going to send whatever category he can to whomever he feels like it, instead of me just assigning people to a particular category.
It is important for those of you viewing Talk Show, Game Show and other non-acting categories that we are willing to share the DVDS with one another. Once you view your DVDS please mail them to another judge. We don't have that many DVDS this year so it's imperative that we do this so everyone is able to view categories.
You can work out on your own with one another who you send your DVDS too. I would also be willing to send my DVDS to another judge when the time comes. Just contact me and we can work out a trade where i send mine and you send yours.

Boidiva, tx, but I have no more DVDs -- I shipped all of them out this weekend so our judges cited above (with categories cited after their names) will be getting them soon.
There's no use anyone else sending me their contact info via PM. They need to contact the judges cited above to see if they'll share the DVDs being sent to them. Sorry! But many people were late getting us their contact info. If I hadn't received it as of yesterday, I shipped everything I had to those who HAD sent us their info.
So, to clarify: folks like Fishbiscuit, Btooley, JackAndEricaForever and others who did not give us their info are NOT getting DVDs from me even though they're on your judges' list, Boidiva. Sorry! I waited long enough for them to follow up ... Judges listed above with specific categories cited after their names will be receiving those DVDs in the mail within a few days.
To clarify so nobody is upset... It is my fault some people are not getting DVDs. you gave me your contact information ontime and like a idiot i had placed them in a different microsoft word folder and they weren't included in the original PM i sent to Tom. I didn't know they were needed by this weekend or they would have been sent.
I am TRULY sorry to those affected by this. But hope is not lost, though you won't be sent DVDS, you are more than welcome to ask another judge to share with you and ask if they'll send you their DVDS when they are finished watching them. I'm sure most will be glad to oblige, as will i.
Again, i am VERY sorry, it was an honest oversight in the midst of a major organizing task.

Oh, THAT's what happened! Tx for clarifying, Matthew. Dang -- ah, well, let's make the best of it. Let's respond to this situation with great community spirit and generosity, pls! If I shipped you DVDs, please make a point of viewing them quickly and mailing them on to another Derbyite so they can experience the fun of participating in this judging process, too, OK? HOPE SO!
Derbyites, if there's a category you want to view, send PMs to the people cited below who were shipped those DVDs and ask them if they'll share. In other words, it's up to YOU GUYS to follow up from here with those receiving DVDs. Here's the list. DVDs were shipped early Saturday morning to these Derbyites:

Because it was my mistake i am definetly more than willing to ship the DVDS to another poster when i'm done with them.
If you were originally selected and were on of those left out in the cold by my mistake i'm definetly willing to mail my DVDS to you when i've viewed them!
Just contact me and i promise to send them to you when i view them. I will be viewing two categories so i can help two posters by mailing them my DVDS when i finish watching them.

PS. I just got a PM from a poster that has asked me to mail them the Best Actress DVDS when i'm done with them, since they were one of those affected by my bonehead mistake i've agreed to let them have them, but i'll allow another poster to take Best Series when i'm done with them.
That poster is Prettygoodyear, so if you want to view Best Actress, contact Prettygoodyear and see if he'll mail them to you when he is doen with them.
Best Series is still available from me though.

Same goes for me. Let me get the discs first, THEN I'll take requests to send them out. I don't really have much of a life other than work, the internet, and Netflix, so I should be able to watch them quickly. Helps that drama series only has 3 noms!

I'm very excited to be doing two categories this year! I did Lifestyle Host last year which was a *very* exciting category Unlike this year the nominees were diverse with the usual batch of people who were deserving and those that leave you scratching your head. It was nice although I would like to one day judge a category where everyone is neck and neck.
This year I have Younger Actor and Writing. I've only seen one from each category, if that, so both will be completely new to me. Both are exciting for different reasons. Writing because quality was so uneven on every soap so I can't wait to see what each soap decided to pick. The two Younger categories are generally great or terrible. Last year was terrible, so I'm hopeful that this year is good. I've seen each of the nominees do great work over the years, so it should be good.
If anyone wants to see these two after I watch them let me know!
How did I miss the signup period?! I could kick myself.

I'm thrilled to be participating this year, and would be equally thrilled to pass along my discs after promptly watching them. I'm getting directing and supporting actor. If I receive them this week, I'll probably be able to pass them along by Monday or Tuesday next week.
I know I said I'd wait til I got the DVDs, but this makes it easier if 2 are ready LOL. One less thing to worry about.
