Okay, normally I hate the blind items, but this one is too joyously ridiculous to ignore:
• Which gay star tried unsuccessfully to convince this hot, drunk, straight actor from another show to have a threesome with him and his boyfriend?
Is Scott Evans taken? I certainly wouldn't blame him for trying to seduce David Fumero. David's married to Melissa Fumero, but why not invite her too? It'll be a party!
No, I'm gonna stop. Nelson, some of these blind items I'm sure you could make up and none of us would be the wiser.
Here are a few blind items straight from my imagination:
Which west coast star needs his co-star dipped in milk before filming to acommodate his dairy fetish?
Which head writer reportedly shot a notorious network executive to death, only to find out the exec was a vampire?
What popular diva was seen rummaging through dumpsters in LA to find better scripts for her show?
Which Emmy nominee secretly had a sex change to become a man to get a nomination in the less competitive younger actor category?
Which unpopular scribe gets story ideas by playing the Fortune Cookie "... in Bed" game?
I've got a million of these!

"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
I hate to break it to the incessantly indignant and tooting her own horn Ms. Rowell but I don't care how many awards Y&R's foster care storyline won. Devon always was and always will be a whining, self righteous dullard.
Cobweb covered Mistress of the Mundane Sheila Carter may be returning to B&B? I don't know when I've been more excited. No wonder daytime television is thriving. There's no shortage of exciting new characters in innovative storylines.

Crystal — I had Olivia as Dante's mother but my editor changed it to father. Guess I can't blame her, because she's not a soap fan. It's back to the original noun.
742 — The industry sure knows who I am talking about. I write the blind items more for the business than the fans, who love them too apparently.
someone NEEDS to tell Victoria Rowell that she is amazing but she talks TOO MUCH and is never going to get back on Y&R at this rate. She keeps airing her grievances in the media and isn't helping this cause that she claims she didn't start!?! She tweeted "Drus still on that cliff" and THEN this supposed grassroots campaign started. I love her so much but shes got to shut it - and I'm sorry - but Neville who does these interviews needs to grow a pair and ask some hard questions now and then or correct people when they're wrong. Tyra wasn't/isn't Devons foster-mom and she kept saying that.
Would it kill someone to ask her in the press "if you could say one thing to Michelle Stafford what would it be"
If you want the cast and crew of Y&R to know one thing about why you'd like to be back what would it be? THAT is something I'd like to hear and would help her because at this rate they will bounce her ass if they even see her in walking distance of CBS.

Vicky R needs to tone it down. Get back on YR or BB then instigate the change.
Brown back to BB would be great. They could explain what the hell went down at YR, or even rewrite it since the Sheila/Phyliss plotline was terrible. Since Brooke and Steph are going to make peace over a bottle of Tequila, Steph needs a worthy opponent. 90s Sheila vs. Steph was the glory years of BB. Sheila can come in town and kill off all the dead weight: Katie, Bill and Steffy.
More Casper on BB. Why not? The show's become so bad, it's good anyway.
Evans claims to be single so it's not him. Is Hansis still dating his clone? It could be him, or maybe LeBlanc, but then saying to actors dating and trying to convince another soap actor would be too obvious.
Mulcahey interview!

My guess is that the re-signed actor is either Melody Thomas Scott, Robin Strasser or Sarah Brown.
My guess as to gay actor trying to seduce a gay actor from another show in to sleeping with him and his boyfriend...well, it could be Scott Evans, but you say he's single. It could be Van Hansis, but who is the straight guy from antoher show? I know Billy Miller is way HOT so if I were any of them, I would try to seduce him. Or John Driscoll, Tyler christopher, Greg Vaughn, Brandon Barrash, Brandon Buddy or Jacob Young (who I still can't believe is married...to a woman.)
GIVE MERYL #3!!!!

Oh crap. Had to wipe off the monitor after spitting out my Diet Pepsi reading this:
With all due respect to the Emmy producers, this would have been my choice for presenters to ensure the highest interest and ratings: ... WORLD TURNS: ... Noelle Beck and Martha Byrne
Originally posted by Boidiva02: i would guess that Sarah Brown is the star that resigned. Or perhaps it's Robin Strasser and it just hasn't been announced yet...
or maybe it's Susan Flannery or Susan Lucci.
its not brown because i have been reading her twitter updates and she is even tweeting with steve burton, she had to tutor him this week on tweeting.
no way should leccia join dool, she isnt a good actress, she got attention because of otalia, but no way can you repeat something on another soap and it eb successful. and daytime audiences tune in because of the characters not the actors, yes good acting helps, but carly is different than olivia, but i highly doubt more than a tenth of gl's viewers who didnt watch dool are going to start watching it because of chappelle. i mean did dool viewers go to oltl or gl? and claywell and evans are not daytime royalty.

Thank you! And people wonder why her co-workers don't want to work with her. Everything is not about YOU Victoria...sheesh, she can't even talk about a storyline without making it about her. I don't care anymore that she's a good actress or that she might be a good writer...in the last several interviews I've read with her, she is completely self-absorbed and arrogant. I wouldn't want her parading around my set either if I worked on a soap, making sure everyone knew how great and important she is. Sheesh!

I find Peter Bergman more self-absorbed and arrogant or Jeanne Cooper who said she was too big of a name to submit herself in supporting last year when she was an overpaid extra in 2007. Rowell is angry that they took a storyline that she and Eric Braeden were extremely proud of and they turned it into something disgusting when Devon slept with Tyra. She had every right to complain. You don't take an issue like foster care and do something like this. I found it repugnant. I can only imagine how outraged Rowell and Braeden were. The current YR does that. They take a real life issue (Huntington's Disease) and they provide false information and use the issue as part of an idiot plot.
But Jeanne Cooper has gone Supporting before, although she should have been Lead.
Are people still excited at the thought of Kimberlin Brown/Sheila Carter? Talk about a tired, dead beat character. Another example of lazy, unimaginative writing, when TPTB cannot create their own intriguing characters, but have to constantly rely on rehashing memorable ones (which usually turns into a disaster). The Bold & the Beautiful is the one show where I can honestly say I'm over with.

She went supporting but lost to Natalia Livingston which I'm sure was a blow to her ego. When she submitted herself for lead in 2008, she explained that the she was too big of a name to ever be in supporting again. It was unfair to the other actress. This was despite every supporting actress nominee that year having more screen time and more impact than she did. Despite, her having lost the supporting actress Emmy.
She was a lead in 2008. It was probably one of the few times she was nominated for lead actress where she was an actual lead on her show.

I think you mean she was worthy to be in the lead category for the year 2008, nominations and show in 2009, right?
My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.
No one is more arrogant than Victoria Rowell. The woman is also a habitual complainer. Every time I read one of her exit interviews (and there were several) two years ago there was a new gripe.
To give just two of many examples, Rowell bitched that Y&R wouldn't let her join the writing staff. Talk about a conflict of interest if Rowell had been allowed to write for Dru. Then there was her claim that the wardrobe people gave designer duds that were meant for her to MTS. Never mind that the two women are nowhere near the same size. Rowell never lets a little thing like common sense get in the way of one of her beefs.
I'm not saying that some of her carping, such as Y&R not having black hairstylists, isn't valid but she should learn to pick her battles particularly since she desperately wants her job back.
Then there's her boasting. According to her she's responsible for Y&R hitting Number 1 in the ratings but the fact is Y&R was the top rated soap two years prior to her being cast.
She's a good actress (though over-praised and prone to scenery chewing IMO) and a ratings draw but she'd have to have the talent of a Meryl Streep to justify her being such a malcontent and sh*t disturber.
