Accrdg to soapcentral.com, William Russ who played the Dad on 90s sitcom Boy Meets World, is cast as billionaire Tucker. I guess this means Sony, MAB, Rauch, Bloom, Moonves, CBS and Y&R have no intention of working things out with EB since they cast a char rather similar. This is quite the slap in the face to fans of Y&R, fans of EB and EB himself.

Maybe Russ can bring on the actress that played Topanga on Boy Meets WOrld, since she hosts The Dish on the Style Network, a show similar to Talk Soup where she spoofs and makes fun of everything TV. She could join Y&R and poke fun at all the dumb storylines. Also, OLTL's Roxy, Ilene Kristen of all people confirmed Russ's casting on Brandon's Buzz.

This reeks of B&B casting Tricia Quick, a brunette psychiatrist paired with Ridge, who quickly joined B&B after brunette psychiatrist Taylor was "killed" off by Sheila. Y&R is further alienating their audience by doing this. I don't think casting a Victor clone can match GH's original Lucky, Jonathan Jackson, or GH's being graced with James Franco's acting. Then there's Days's Carly vs. Vivian. Y&R should drop out of the number 1 slot they've held for years.

I agree. If Y&R wants to get rid of Victor and Nikki, they should then focus on the other strong characters they've neglected for years. Instead of bringing on a cheap substitute.

Yeah, has the pseudo-replacement character EVER worked? I've seen it done quite a few times, but not once can I remember it being done successfully.

Wow Y&R is seriously now the worst run show in the history of daytime.
