My goodness we're all quiet today!

I love the interview. It seems like Crystal has had a fascinating personal journey between her last run on DAYS and now.

And you're right, when we first saw Carly back on screen, she didn't look a day older than when she left!

It might be hard to keep her kids from seeing the scene where Carly stabs Lawrence, though. It's been playing every episode since Friday!

Bring Back Marlena!

What a great interview and what a classy woman. I love that she seems most interested in telling a good story, honoring her audience and giving a great performance. Ego doesn't really seem to fall into the equation for her...the fact that she was willing to go to "ATWT" solely to continue the Otalia story says it all.

I also love that she takes responsibility for her younger years, and acknowledges them head on...not all actors do that. It seems that not only has she grown as an actress over the years, she has learned from her mistakes and grown as a person as well.

I just keep gaining more and more respect and admiration for this woman!

Great interview Nelson! And you make the wittiest titles so no wonder they pay you to write. You clearly love the genre and the actress. Props to you and those gems you wrote (the journey is the destination, finding truth in lying). Very romantic sounding. You should use them to snag a man. LOL. Only quibble: Madonna doesn't get all the gays, a big segment yes, but not all. I don't think she has a good voice, her self-absorption and self-promotion are shameless (making her Michael Jackson tribute speech about her) and she's still desperate for attention after all these years.

It's interesting how Days will play this out since Bo/Hope are the endgame. And it's cool that they borrowed the timeframe so often used on Desperate Housewives. Carly and her buried alive storyline were actually what got me watching Days years ago. La Chappell has aged, very gracefully and naturally. How cool that she mentioned Daytime actresses as her faves.

Nelson, when Zimmer was interviewed by Michael Logan, she mentioned that people wanted her to join B&B and do a lesbian love story with La Flannery. You clued us in on a Daytime superstar who wanted a same gender love story but was denied by the higher ups. So what happened with B&B, SF and Zimmer? Was there anything concrete and who ultimately stopped this from materializing?

Goodness i'm too old to be called a boy. I'll be in my 30s next year.

So what's the scoop with Zimmer, SF and the same gender love story on B&B Nel? Zimmer wanted to play it with a younger female (enter lesli kay if Brad Bell was smart) accrdg to her interview with logan. So who killed this potential big storyline? Was it Brad, Barbara or Les Moonves?

You and Michael logan have been working overdrive with the mayjah scoops and big name interviews. Any news on James Franco's first days on GH's set? They must have been in awe because he is not only a big movie star, but he has the acting chops to back it up. he was excellent in the James Dean tele movie, tristan and Isolde and yes even in the Spidey franchise. Will Brad Bell put some actors on recurring thanx to Sarah Brown's arrival? And what exactly is your beef with Hunter Tylo Nel?

I'm not sure what happened with Zimmer and B&B. They have such a large cast now, I doubt they could find room for her. I'm not sure if another soap will touch Zimmer so soon after GL ended. It's the Martha Byrne issue all over again.

Tylo wanted B&B to cut me off because of a blind item I ran, so she's persona non grata at my house. I hate when actors TRY to censor the press.

I guess being larger than life and playing such an identifiable char is a double edged sword. And the fact that Zimmer's not one to shy away from complaining about storylines, execs, etc. However, if Braeden gets hired by a new soap should things with Y&R not pan out, then Zimmer should get a second soap gig as well.

How is B&B affording everyone Nel? Back in the day, it seemed like evrytime Brad would hire someone new, a few months later someone would be killed off to keep the budget in line (ex. hiring sarah buxton then killing off Macy). And then when Davidson jumped from Y&R to B&B, dax Griffin and William Devry were put on recurring. So is anyone going recurring for B&B to afford Sarah Brown, who must not come cheap?

As for Tylo, didn't she pull something like that with Michael Logan when B&B killed off taylor thru Sheila? He ran a scoop that the reason she was let go was because she held the show "hostage" with her negotiations at the time when Massimo was ingratiating himself into Ridge's life with that cryptic birthday pie representing the small slice Ridge gets outta FC. I distinctly recall Logan saying he stood by his sources, who was one of the cast members of the show! I'm guessing your source is a big name cast member as well.

It does look and feel like B&B is expanding to an hour but I've been assured that isn't happening. Hmmmm....

Really? But Scott Novick, who goes to pretty much all the B&B fan club events as far as I know, put on a message board that the show will not expand to an hr since everyone loves the 30 min. format since they get a paid vacay for a month and a half during the summer.

The last time B&B was rumored to expand to an hr was in the 90s. The rumor was GL would be cut to 30 mins and B&b would expand to an hr due to its high ratings.

So are you speculating ATWT gets axed within a yr, a new 30 min gameshow or talkshow will debut, and B&b expands to 1 hr? And geez I shoulda never used the word bottom in my screen name with all its sexual connotations. I am really bad at cooking so that's why bottomchef and it's a play on the program top chef.
