Whats so funny about Trevor St John? And correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Marcie couldnt get pregnant, so i didnt like that ending that Ron gave to her and Michael...
There are too many up-tight gay people on this borad..They need to get laid.. holla at me and if your in my area maybe I can help you out..
Who the heck is Jolie on OLTL? I'm assuming it's another abbreviated couple name. Are our fingers so tired that we haven't the energy to type two full names?
Other than that, I like Steve Burton and Sarah Brown, and I like them together, but no combination that includes Claudia Zacchara would work for me, unless she's paired romantically with a long walk off a short pier. She's like OLTL's Stacy: get her gone, and then we'll talk.
I agree with you completely about Y&R and Tricia Cast. I've seen the actress on Y&R before, but I wasn't a regular viewer, and by the time I was she was gone. This is the first time I'm getting a chance to see Cast really in action, and she's superb. More please!
Finally, I think it's a little early to rank Kyle and Fish among the best couples for the week, since they haven't even been paired yet. But I do hope your prediction is true. I would love to see Fish arrest Ellen Wheeler for loitering in the park; when he gets her to the police station, he'll find out that she has an outstanding warrant for murder (GL, RIP).

"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)

My feelings are mixed on this one. On the one hand, it's a cop-out, designed to make more palatable the wrongful firing of two great actors. On the other hand, I'm glad Carlivati gave them a sweet happy ending. I just wish the happy ending had been Marcie and Michael leaving with Starr's baby in tow. Starr and Cole need a vacation from these heavy storylines, and now they're stuck with teen parenthood, so whatever childhood they had left is gone for good.
It would have been very touching to have Starr struggle with having to give up her child all over again, but realizing that she's not prepared to raise a baby. Every once in a while, Starr could receive video or letter updates from Marcie and Michael in the mail and share them with Cole. And maybe down the line, if the show ever wised up and hired back Brier and Stack, they could return to Llanview for help with a medical condition that requires the baby's biological parents.

Seriously? That couple still has a fanbase?

I know right, they're both married to other people. It's time to move on.
Glad to see Blair and Tea are the # 1 rivals. DePaiva and Lozano really need to share all their scenes from now on, they bring out the best in each other.
I don't remember Trevor St. John making me laugh last week. Robin Strasser had more comedy with Dorian's hangover.

Actually, you have Fish and Kyle under "New Couples." Your three duos to watch are Olivia and Natalia, Rex and Gigi, and Noah and Luke.

Actually, every category should have "to watch," just realized my editor cut some of them out for some reason; I'll fix that. But you get the drift....
Props to Maria for paying homage to the character of Nina, played by the still delicious, Tricia Cast. I thought that coroner was going to hide in that empty coffin when Nina jumped all over him.
And who here thinks that street cat Nina would mop the floor with neurotic, Phyllis???

All's forgiven, LOL.
Regardless, I'd rather ponder the future of Kyle and Fish than watch what's actually happening between Rex and Stacy right now. Today they had the ugliest, most unpleasant looking sex scene I've ever seen featuring two attractive people. How bad was it? I changed the channel to ATWT and kept it there! Even during scenes with Dusty, Paul, and Meg!

Tricia Cast can do no wrong. When she was at the grave with Kay a few weeks ago and mentioned Cricket telling her about Philip I got chills - you can just feel the rich history in this entire story. Maria is fantastic and I'm loving every second of it. I wonder if Philip faked his death because he was gay and didn't want them to know. I don't know if I'd like that. To hide out for 20 years from your family - that is a LOT of shame - it is believable but why else would he fake his own death and then stay gone. I'll get on board but it may be challenging.
The Nina, Vicki, Ryan triangle had me hooked as a kid in the early 90s. I guess its not even really worth it for Nina to bump into Victoria now though.
Is Colleen even on the show anymore? She hasn't been seen since the wedding and Devon said that she got sick and couldn't make the reception - she hasn't been seen since?!

The thing that irks me with Colleen's disappearance though is that Victor was so hell bent on getting her off the board and threatening JT to do it immediately - that the vanishing of the Colleen character makes no sense. And Tammin Sursok was just learning how to act too!
It's the small things like this on Y&R that keeps me from raving about it as much as I could be. Sure it's the best right now, but there are too many instances of unexplained questions. I certainly understand leaving a viewer hanging, but dropping plot points and rushing others is entirely too uneven and Y&R should know better. Then again, maybe it's all Scott Hamner's doing...
Anyone figure out why they need 3 Co-Head writers on the show, when we all know Maria & Hogan could kick ass all on their own???
