back to the child actors. doesnt the kids choice give out an award for child actors on soaps? older actors dont get that unless they are african american or latino, unless you count the sod awards but thats not prestigious awards.

That's why they need a sepeerate category for child actors, maybe since there are so few of them, just one category for Outstanding Performance By A Performer Under The Age Of 18.

That way all children are in one category and than the Younger Actor category is still around for people between 18-25.

Praying The Daytime Emmys air on TV in 2010!

I would be thrilled to see Blake Berris (Nick, DAYS) get a nod here.

He has the tapes and is very deserving..more so than Darin Brooks (Max).

I'm a little torn about whether I'd prefer Blake or Darin here, but really, they've both got some good tapes and a decent shot.

There's no competition for me. Darin Brooks by the mile. Plus, his tapes do not have the shortcomings that Berris's have.

My thing is that I would've prefer to see Blake nomed last yr. instead of Darin, but this yr. it's the opposite and it's not Blake's fault. It was the horrendous storyline he was given and his screen partner was Molly Burnett.

Darin Brooks has more tapes than Blake Berris, and he's a better actor overall, so he should get the nod over Berris.

I guess I'm kind with east/west on this one. I felt like Blake kind of got shafted last year, so I'm inclined to want him to get a nod this year. But looking at 2008, Darin is clearly the more deserving actor. Maybe they'll both get in.

I'd love for them both to get in...but fat chance.

I'd like to see Berris and Brooks get in, but I imagine the anti-DOOL feeling is quite high right now based on Corday's behaviour.
