One correction: Susan Haskell is not a first-time winner, though she is a first-time Lead Actress winner. She won the supporting race for the same role in 1994.
I don't think she's been nominated between then and now, so this win makes her undefeated at the Emmys.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)
742 is correct. Susan Haskell is undefeated at the Emmys. mostly because she was not nominated in 1995 and left the show in 1996 not returning full-time until 2008.

Now that The View ladies finally won, these are now the Emmys biggest losers:
Live with Regis and Kelly for Best Talk Show 0 for like 20
Judge Judy- 0 for 11
Dr. Phil MacGraw- 0 for 8, 4 losses for host, 4 as producer
Rachel Ray- 0 for 4, is not a producer of the show that bears her name so she hasnt not received an award herself.
Ben Bailey, host of Cash Cab- 0 for 3.
Other notable losers but are not on any current show thats in the running: Kathie Lee Gifford- 0 for 11, Star Jones- 0 for 9, Lisa Ling- 0 for 5, Leeza Gibbons- her bio says she was nominated for host and exec producer every year it was on the air.

That change was made after I mentioned it. The version I read initially did not mention that she had won a previous Emmy.
