to fix this show? i'm getting a very strange feeling this is what's happening. they are throwing her under the bus making it seem like claudia was wrong with this show when there were much worse things wrong such as the boring nikolas/rebecca story, ethan is luke's son, carjax, jasam. although the latter two have fanbases, sjb wasnt what was wrong with gh, claudia was a fixable character, its just the writers didnt want to do that. now when sjb leaves, they get jj back and now are bringing back steven. and it just happens to be luck that franco fell in their lap and he will nothing more than the male version of claudia. now rumors fly brenda could be back. it upsets me that gh didnt try to fix this show with brown on, but now that she's gone, they want to now. i just find it completely disgraceful on gh's part. and i will not watch this "reincarnation" of gh. instead it makes me almost happy that daytime is in the minority when you abuse talented actors for hair models or rejects, not just talking gh but other soaps as well.

I am not sure where you got your info about Franco, but according to some Rumors I have read, Rumorville: The latest buzz is that Franco is playing a childhood friend of Dante's. Franco's father was a detective, who Dante apparently saw as his own father figure. Dante's friend is now coming after Jason because he believes (perhaps rightly so) that Jason was responsible for the death of his father. Believe it...or not... So I am not sure that sounds like the Male Claudia or not.

I think the show has been improving since the kids were SORASed. With that they do seem to be showing the consequences of this awful mob life and also you see them branching out and telling hospital and cop storylines as well. It's not Sonny/Jason all the time. In fact, I feel like Sonny has been very supporting in the grand scheme of things. He may appear in many episodes, but he's not the central focus of anything right now. That is certainly a change. With Jonathan Jackson coming on, you have another frontburner character who isn't involved with the mob either.

Honestly, out of the five soaps I watch I feel like GH is the best right now. It has it's flaws, but it's more of a soap than Y&R or AMC right now. Overall DAYS, B&B, ATWT, GH and OLTL seem to be the only soaps on air. The only soaps with romance, mystery, intrigue, a true identity and family relationships. Not all are perfect or my cup of tea, but I see them trying.

What is with these lame promos ABC is airing for Jonathan Jackson's return? "Elizabeth's one true love is back"?? I guess Greg Vaughan's 7 years in the role and Jacob Young's 3 years didn't count? Why don't they just say "The REAL Lucky Spencer returns"?

Why does ABC have to fire actors, (Vaughan, Sabine Singh etc) and then humiliate them by acting like their contribution to the show was worth nothing?

I agree Viva! SORASing the Corinthos kids was the best thing this show has done in a long time. And having the focus off of the mob for a little bit has done the show favors.

And I am w/u zack. Just have the say "Emmy winner Jonathan Jackson returns as Lucky Spencer" instead of spiting in the face of Grey and his fans.
The one thing I will give them is that promo captured what has been missing in the character. That spark. I liked all of the Lucky's w/Elizabeth, but the writers didn't do Greg's no favor except for his Emmy worthy performace during the drug story and he even said that in the Michael Fairman interview he did.

i have heard about the franco story but still he is the male version of claudia simply because he doesnt look to be playing a good guy and jason will be looking to kill him like he is trying to claudia. and how much airtime will franco get when there's the claudia disappearance, carjax problems, the renewed c/s war, scrubs and the ex-lover, liz/lucky/nik. doesnt look like he's going to dominate this show. i doubt gh does him justice if they couldnt do sjb justice.
