Can anyone advise me regarding changes in the 2009 Daytime Emmy Balloting process? For instance, this year only two pre-nominees versus the three pre-noms last year.

I'm inquiring specifically about the voting process. Last year, after the panels voted on the pre-noms based on a tape submission, the panel then remained in the room and re-voted on the actual nominees' second tape. This, then, determined the winner -- which was decided before the final nominees were even announced.

Does anyone know how it will work this year?

I don't know much, but I'm under the distinct impression that pre-nominees are only submitting one tape this year.

and is voting for winners and nominees done on the same day this year? because i know last year that was very controversial.
