Damn you Frons!

AMC and GH are the cheapest looking shows on daytime. Somehow OLTL manages to look lush and warm while GH is drab and AMC is so bright and completely tacky. (the lighting on OLTL is esepcially well done, and helps make the small sets look very good- Llanfair especially)

You would never know OLTL had the smallest budget and was the most economical show in daytime. It looks fantastic. It's the best looking soap outside of the Bell shows.

how do we know OLTL has cheap budget?

I find it hard to believe cost of actors on OLTL is not a lot higher then AMC?

I don't remember when I read/heard this, but the folks at Daytime Confidential have said several times that OLTL is the best run show on show and consistently under-budget.

This is another example of not investing in one's lineup. So it's not a surprise.

am i surprised no? why would Frons invest money in a show that he's just going to cancel a year from now anyway? and why would he want to spend money on any show that isn't his baby GH or his precious AMC?
