I think she made a good choice, especially because she wants to stay on the east coast. She gets to go back to show where she has friends and has had success in the past. I'm sure she'll feel comfortable there.
I'm sure she'll slip easily back into the fold with Kassie DePaiva and Robin Strasser. Now, they need to get Laura Koffman back as Cassie, or recast with Martha Byrne.
However, I couldn't help but laugh when she said OLTL writes well for women. Not sure what show she's watching, but OK.

My website and blog are taking a little break, since Geocities is closing and I now have to upload everything to a new site, so I am working on a new design and it is gonna take me a while, hoping to get it up by Oscar Season.
I have mixed feelings about this. From a fan perspective this news makes me very happy. Her Kelly is one of my all-time favorite soap characters and i think may get me to watch OLTL again. But on the other hand i feel it is a step back in her career. She left OLTL for a reason; to expand her career beyond this character and winning two emmys did just that so i feel like she should have gone on to a bigger, more highly rated show and Y&R being #1 in daytime was just that, so i think she may have made a big mistake. I'd hate to see her looking for work again a year from now because OLTL is cancelled.
but i love her and i love kelly so i'm ready to see this work. I'm interested to see if she'll have any chemistry with Dan Gauthier as Heather Tom did.
I also find it interesting and slightly funny how Tom went from CBS to ABC and back to CBS and how Tognoni went from ABC to CBS back to ABC. and Laura Wright (Tognoni's best friend) went from ABC to CBS to ABC.

Thank goodness Tognoni didn't jump to Y&R or B&B. Both soaps have enough cast members as it is. Since she wouldn't be Victoria, it'd bloat the cast if she were to be a recasted Grace or Tricia, 2 chars not needed since Nick has Phyliss and Sharon, and Patty/MJ is the show's psychotic centerpiece.
As for B&B, can't Ashley Jones get a break! Brad wanted to pair Nick with Tognoni, which would mean heartache for Bridget again! Why not create a quadrangle with Casper/Bridget/Nick/Felicia and then have both women dump Nick. Nick should be dumped for a change!
