How nuclear? Like radiation suits may not even help?
Oh, I had to go directly to the site and find it. Hot linking didn't work.

If the soap vet who took Ryan Phillippe's virginity was Robin Strasser, I could die happy.
Otherwise, I look forward to seeing Muhney's work. I missed his first day and might try to catch up on SoapNet tonight.
But boo about the Sharon/Nick/Phyllis storyline news. Having Sharon lie about the paternity to "selflessly" give Nick back to Phyllis -- which is kind of like "selflessly" giving someone venereal disease -- is just about the dumbest, most plot-driven twist I could have imagined for a show that's supposed to be getting back to its character roots. Next thing you know, Stacy Morasco will show up to vie for Nick.
GL's Olivia and Natalia romance is a strange case. I buy them as in love with each other, but I have trouble believing that they're sexually attracted to each other. It just seems odd considering all their history with men, and the performances of the actresses suggest emotional chemistry but no sexual tension.
So I have Ricky Paull Goldin to blame for Chrishell Stause staying on AMC? Good to know where I should direct the hate mail.
Bruce Weitz back as Anthony Zacchara. Worst. News. Ever. You'd think a guy who won an Emmy for "Hill Street Blues" would have better things to do. Though maybe he could marry Helena Cassadine and form an evil-old-people-who-show-up-once-every-couple-of-years-for-storyline-purposes alliance. You know what? That's a storyline I could actually get behind; Bruce Weitz and Constance Towers might be awesome together.
And Dominic being Dante means yet another mob-related storyline for Sonny's kids. Perhaps Josh Griffith was hired simply to supply an original idea.
Like the idea of Michael Lowry on OLTL, but isn't Ross the character who washed up on a desert island with Tea? Do we really need reminders of that storyline?

"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)

Loved the Chrishell dig!
Always happy to entertain! I've been catching up with GH while "Ellen" is on summer hiatus, and clearly the show is bringing out all my latent rage.
I fear, though, that if I took over your job, I'd be forced to sit through more of the soaps than I already do. Within a week's time, my Suds Reports would consist only of expletives.
Really, I'd much rather take over head writing duties at GH. Because even if my dialogue consisted only of expletives, it would be a marked improvement.

No doubt in my mind that B&B is the soap that is experiencing a MAJOR nuclear meltdown.....one that began a year ago to be honest.
As for the soap experiencing the behind-the-scenes meltdown....my guess there would be Y&R (aka...The Young and the Ass Kissers)
As for Sharon lying to Nick about the baby......Maria and Hogan are totally destroying this story now. Nick and Sharon FINALLY end up together after hurting their respective spouses, and now Sharon has a conscious because Summer (once again) is in the hospital. That little girl is really accident prone.
The only way i want this story to play out is if this "accident" of Summer's requires a blood transfusion..and we FINALLY find out that Jack, not Nick, is Summer's father. That would wrap up that whole fiasco of a story and also propel Mary Jane (aka Kitty Carlisle), to totally go further off the deep end. Jack would go back to Phyllis, Sharon to whoever??? and Mary Jane would start sleeping in a litter box.

MAB and Sheffer are only destroying this story now? This story was DOA from the beginning. The 35 year old little man put it right today when he called them both flakes. No one has yet explained why anyone should care about two people who cheat and cheat and we're somehow to see them as great loves. I don't think so. Last time I checked, great loves don't pork everything with legs. Joshua Morrow's is sleepwalking through his performance. He's checked out so why should I check in? I also don't want another DNA rewrite on this show. Leave the little brat as Nick's.
The whole MTS thing distresses me. I want a pleasant weekend so I'm going to forget about it. I'm going to pretend that MTS banishes Rauch to an underground world where he's forced to watch all the dreck he's produced over the years starting with the last year of SB.
My 1st thought on Ryan Phillipe was Robin Strasser too. 2nd thought, what makes everyone so sure it's a woman?
Really, any of the shows could be having meltdowns behind the scenes. It could be Frons and Carlivati butting heads at OLTL. AMC's Stuart murder mystery is a bust, none of Guza's "new" attempts to revitalize GH are working since they're all really just retreads of things we've already seen. B&B and ATWT have record low ratings and atrocious writing. Even Y&R has a ton of behind the scenes drama. It's crazy that Days is the most stable soap at the moment. I was sure the show wouldn't last 6 months without Diedre Hall; obviously I was wrong. I have no clue who to give the credit to, but somebody over there's doing something right.

I'm going to take a stab at it and say it's Pablo Seganti (Damien, ATWT) who's the disgruntle east coast returnee . If that's true though, he's going to have to stand in line behind 20 other actors on that show who's less than pleased.

Nuclear meltdown = NUKE = ATWT RP virgin taker = Susan Haskell Joan Rivers = Jennifer Gareis Upset East Coast Vet = Paulo Seganti
Oh, Nelson, it's nice and completely unsurprising that you've immediately taken to Michael Muhney but he looks just as old on the show as he does in the photos. He's a nice-looking fellow who looks mid 30s. At least he doesn't have bags under his eyes like Clementine Ford.
If not Mac being recast, maybe Victoria? How about Martha Byrne since NuAdam aged half a decade, maybe Vicky should too.
Chance?! Darn it, I wanted to call him P4 or Four or Blackadder Goes Forth.

Just the mere thought of that happening makes my head explode.
LOL.
Well i was trying to think who would have been close to his age at the time he was on OLTL. I wanted to say Erin Torpey but i believe she is a lot younger than RP is and that she was probrally a pre-teen at the time so it couldn't be her.
I'm having a hard time remember who was on during this time frame but i just thought and i don't know if she was on when he was on but what about Yasmine Bleeth? was she on during the time that RP was on? could it be her?
Praying The Daytime Emmys air on TV in 2010!

I have to say I chuckled at the comment regarding Billy Miller and Graz. I was a lil' shocked when Miller mentioned that in SOD. I can so see those two having a roll in the hay in Vegas.
