Finding a fashionable daytime actor is like finding the holy grail. It's usually an endless parade of tacky and unflattering, but the Emmy's had a few hits and major misses.
Best
Elizabeth Hendrickson's black dress was short but still nighttime appropriate. The structured sleeves, fluttering hem, cinched waist, dramatic collar and strands of jewelry to mask the cleavage all worked.
Kristian Alfonso The jewel-toned blue worked well against her tan complexion and brunette locks and the neckline was good.
Victoria Rowell was the best dressed of the night! She looked extremely sexy with the bandage like layers of her dress. It was an elegant simplicity and a sexiness without being overt.
Worst
Susan Haskell's looked like a Rothko gone awry.
Nadia Bjorlin managed to "class" up the event by looking dour with the stiff hair and heavy embellishment on the neckline, and then vulgar with the missing fabric that ran away from her cleavage. The trashy puppies and her severe eyebrows are a failed attempt to vamp it up like Megan Fox.
The bleeped actor from Days. YR's Billy Miller's tie was distracting. Van Hansis looked like an extra from Saturday Night Fever.
Julie Berman mess, Kirsten Storms messier and Leslie Anne Downe messiest.
Michelle Stafford's black and white dress looked like a cow print.

Best Jamie Luner - All My Children - Loved the color, it is a simple dress and she pulls it off amazing.
Nadia Bjorlin - Great dress. She looks awesome, not the best dressed of the night, but she is close.

Heather Tom - The Bold and the Beautiful - This dress could have been amazing, but she needed to lose the full coverage shoulders, make them a little smaller.
Laura Wright - A Light summer outfit, not sure if it was the right choice for the red carpet, but it looks like she is comfortable and if she had to be there and wasn't nominated, I am cool with that.
Chrishell Stause - All My Children - If she lost the gold crap around the top this would have been amazing.
Elizabeth Hendrickson - The Young and the Restless - She looks cute, I just am not really sold on the dress. Its just okay for me.

Kate Linder - The Young and the Restless - I never understand why people wear dresses like this, you look like a freaking cream-puff! Horrible.
Judith Chapman - The Young and the Restless - Wow it looks like she crawled out of bed and thru on a scarf around her head and heading out the door. WOW.
Stacy Haiduk - The Young and the Restless - Wow she looks like a goth chick and it doesn't work. With the horrible bad and the horrible tattoo on her leg, its just wow WAY TO MUCH!
Bobbie Eakes - All My Children - Dress is to short, its the wrong color for her, and her boobs are about to pop out, Bobbie, look in a mirror girl!
Rachel Melvin - Days of Our Lives - WOW! This is a hot mess! What is up with that horrible flower on her chest, WHY DO PEOPLE FEEL THE NEED TO PUT CRAP LIKE THAT ON A DRESS! She is young, she should know better!
Debbie Morgan - All My Children - Umm wow, looks like a horrible prom dress gone wrong.

Tamara Braun - Days of Our Lives - Just wow, that dress is perfect, the back is amazing and she looks just wow, so happy she won and she totally wins my best dressed of the night.

But for the ladies I say all of them were like the guys in terms of good/bad, but the standouts for best dressed were Tamara Braun and Susan Lucci second dress.

Elizabeth Hendrickson's bicycle shorts were not so flattering and the whole thing wasn't really Emmy appropriate.
Rachel Melvin's big huge flower was terrible too.
I have mixed feelings about Berman's outfit. It just made her look too old.
Kate Linder was a mess.

I disagree with you about Lucci, she was stunning on the red carpet.
As for Berman, Like I said before, I think she was going for the Old Hollywood look and I think that she looked awesome, but I can see how some people wouldn't like it.
By far the worst dressed was either Kate Linder or Judith Chapman.

I'm going through some of the pix right now. Just got to Brenda Dickson WOW. I'm speechless.
Lesley-Anne Down dressed too young.
Noelle Beck looked great, except for the necklace.
Kelly Menighan Hensley looked great except for the hair.
Wendy Williams. I still don't get her.
Julie Pinson looked great, but I wasn't a fan of the length. I think it would have been better either a little longer or a little shorter. The pink pumps were quite a statement.
Kristian Alfonso. I'm just not a fan of the 1 sleeve look anyway.
Nadia Bjorlin. I love black & gold together. The shape is perfect for her. Plus, she has beautiful eyes.
Tyra Banks & Rachael Ray both looked good. Simple & elegant. Except for that thing around Rachael's neck.
Tamara Braun looks sexy but not vulgar.

I looked at photos online, I used Jamd.com, it is a website that has like recent event pictures, look up Daytime Emmy Awards and you will see tons of photos.
