I think you all know that i love making lists and any excuse i have i'll take to make one... i'm sure others feel the same way, so i an opening this thread to allow room for anyone that wants to make any sort of list related to daytime tv.

I'll start with this list:

Ricky Paull Goldin (Best Known as Gus Aitori, Guiding Light, 2001-Present, Dean Frame, Another World 1990-1993, 1994-1995, Gary Dawson, The Young & The Restless, 1999-2000, 2001)- Being one of only 3 soap actors i've met in my life gives him an edge on making my list but his combonation of sex appeal, genuine personality and raw sexual energy makes him one of the sexiest men on daytime tv.

11. David Fumero (Best Known as Christain Vega, OLTL, 1998-2005, 2005-2007)- A former male model he has always had a special place in my heart and continues to grow into his manliness.

Sexiest Men in All of Daytime History, what a hard list to compile, but I'll give it a try.

10. Rod Arrants (Travis, Search for Tomorrow.) His character was not only romantic, a hero and tall and curly, but there was something about him that when he was on screen, you just wanted to melt.

9. Dane Witherspoon (Joe, Santa Barbara, Tyler, Capitol.) The name alone is just sexy and that body and brood makes him irresitable.

8. Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan, Guiding Light.) Something about a bad boy that is just hot.

7. Patrick Muldoon (Austin, Days of Our Lives.) The sexy voice and mannerisms make him undeniably sexy to me.

It's just an oversight, i just made a list of the people that i personally find attractive, race was definetly not a factor on that list... in fact i find Shemare Moore, Keith Hamilton Cobb, Kristoff St. John and many other actors that are black, hispanic, asian and other ethnic backgrounds very sexy.

8. Jessica Morris, One Life To Live: She stunk up the screen as Jen Rappaport for years and single handedly lowered the intellegance of people that were watching her

7. Amber Childings, All My Children: Currently playing Colby Chandler on "AMC" she is one of the worst people to ever touch daytime tv.

6. Aiden Turner, All My Children: wooden, stiff and unable to convey a single solid emotion

5. Hunt Block, As The World Turns: also wooden and stiff, but he is also pretentious and boring

4. Drake Hogysten, Days Of Our Lives: luckily they recently killed off John, but he's still one of the worst actors to ever touch daytime tv

3. Josh Taylor, Days Of Our Lives: another guy that has spent far to many years stinking up daytime television

2. Steve Burton, General Hospital: someone that was once a decent actor has since turned into one of the lamest, stiffest, most unoriginal and lazy actors in daytime

1. Austin Peck, Days Of Our Lives: one of the most unconvincing actors around with little to no range or depth.

Not so much a list as a grouping of the most overlooked people in daytime TV (in terms of emmys)---

Katherine Kelly Lang, B&B- how does she not have an emmy? she has never been nominated and has rather literally been one of B&B's most important characters since it's 1987 inception. She does hold her own against Susan Flannery and on occasion i'm told has managed to even out act Hunter Tylo...

Melody Thomas Scott, Y&R- she joined in 1979 and has done spectacular work ever since and has been nominated only once in 1999 joining very exclusive company as one of only 4 people to loose to Susan Lucci. Her constant lack of nominations is simply idiotic.

Lynn Herring, GH/PC- At least she has been nominated twice (1990 and 1992) but she has yet to ever take home a win; her constant snubbing on "Port Charles" was simply insane and the fact she didn't get nods for work done in 1994, 1995, 1996 or 1997 is also quiet moronic as this time period is when Lucy began to expand into more than a comedic side character and grew a heart; fell in love and had some of her best stories ever--- her work upon Lucy learning about BJ's death was stunning--- her constant superb work during GH's Nurses Ball's were unmatched- as Lucy served yearly as the host and she had to sing, dance, tell jokes and also play into the dramatic stories taking place that year...

Robin Strasser, OLTL- with 4 career nominations and 1 win (1982) she isn't neccisarrily overlooked, but definetly overdue, she hasn't been nominated once since 1985 and this is sad because she really delivered many of her most career defining and most outstanding scenes during the post-1993 days...

Deidra Hall, DOOL- with three nominations in the 1980's and then a complete lack of acknowledgement for her best work ever done in the 1990's Hall is one of the most overlooked people in daytime television. Despite the fact that many can' stand Marlena Evans, Hall is a consument professional who has constantly delivered quality work and deserved to be among daytime's emmy winners.

Kristian Alfonso, DOOL- with only 1 legit emmy nod in 1985 Alfonso another soap staple is among the best in her field and is among the most overlooked. Not a single nomination for her shining work in the 1990's and 2000's? we can debate all we want about if she was sad enough in Zack's Death story but the turth is she is an actress that has inexplicably been overlooked

Sean Kanan, B&B, GH- with outstanding work on both GH and B&B Kanan has become one of daytimes most versitile and brilliant actors ever. The fact that he has not once been nominated is a horror among horrors in the daytime world...

A slew of ATWT stalwarts have never gotten a nod, even in their glory days. Hastings, Hays (who was snubbed during the Douglas Cummings saga, despite the show garnering tons of nods in that era), Masters (does have a couple writing Emmys tho) and Wagner. And the original vixen of daytime, Eileen Fulton, only has one nom under her belt, that being in 1987. Also, the underappreciated but quite talented Scott Holmes never received a nod, despite heartbreaking work during Margo's rape. I don't think any of these people will ever be considered again, which is sad and a testament to the state of the genre.

Although Jacqueline Courtney's work on AW was deemed too soap-operaish by Harding LeMay, and probably likely so, how this woman NEVER scored a nod on OLTL, notably when Brian died, is also beyond me. And the queen of soaps, Mary Stuart, was nominated a few times, but never won.
