Imaginary Bitches lost its bid in New Approach. It's shameful!, but if it was to AMC (which is up for something tornado related in that category), it is telling for what tomorrow is going to be.
On an aside I won't be able to be a part of the chats tomorrow on account of me not having my laptop, so I am going to be watching and after the show I am going to read and post my comments here and see what else is on the web concerning the show.
Hopefully the show gets its ratings so that it can be back on the TV next yr.

Anyone got a link to the complete results for the creative arts awards?
I'm not surprised AMC won the major technical prizes like sets, lighting, tech direction, and sound mixing. The tornado probably got it those. Hopefully it'll settle for tech direction and lose the top directing prize tomorrow night.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)

It lost to the Oscar-nominated short "I Met the Walrus." I don't think Imaginary Bitches had a shot against an Oscar nominee.
