This is the category that is so easy to predict since their limited actors/actresses that can be put up for consideration and I am doing my prenom predix as if they are going back to the two ppl from each show until I hear otherwise.

Since there wont be a guest Actor category, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Tom Pelphry's name doesn't end up Pre-nommed in the Younger Actor category again. He did some pretty great work when he came back to GL for 6 weeks in Feb/March and it will be the last year he'll be eligible in the category.

i don't like that set up, you should have to be in more episodes then that to compete like minimum of 4 months on the show that year or something

Tom shouldn't submit his name again.
His last win was a well deserved win so there's no need for him to put his name in again.

And on Tammin she is the lesser of many evils on that show when it comes to the Yng Actresses.
Emily hasn't really done anything, but become a Fisher, Vail doesn't need another nomination for wearing a bikini in the Newman ranch house and looking hot while doing it, and if they prenominated Erin Sanders it wouldn't be based on talent, but the fact that they need another actress to fill up the other slot. And don't get me started on "Eva the Diva" and "Miss Sing-A-Song".

I'm just going to do prenom pics for days right now, because that's all i have time for at the moment, quick and easy.

assuming there are 2 prenoms:

Lead Actress:
Deidre Hall and Alison Sweeney

Lead Actor:
James Scott and Peter Reckell

Supporting Actress:
Arianne Zuker and Peggy Mckay

Supporting Actor:
Shaun Christian and Joseph Mascolo

Younger Actress:
Rachel Melvin and Shelley Hennig

Younger Actor:
Darin Brooks and Blake Berris

now last year there were a shocking 4 prenommed for lead actor. i suspect there will be 3 prenoms for each show again, and if there are, this year supporting actress might have a 4th prenom instead of lead actor. so here are the extras:

Lead actress extra prenom: Kristian Alfonso
Lead actor extra prenom: stephen Nichols
supporting actress extra prenoms: Leann Hunley and Tamara Braun
Supporting actor extra prenom: Thaao Penghlis
Younger actress: Kristen Renton
Younger actor extra: no qualifiers

prenom snubs: renee jones, lauren koslow, drake hogestyn, nadia bjorlin, bryan dattilo, james reynolds

am i the only one that kind of wants Amber Childers to get pre-nommed in a show of support for the way she was recast just as people were warming up to her and colby?

Congrats to Kathy Griffin on her second consecutive emmy win!

I can only chime in on B&B and Y&R...

B&B

LEAD ACTOR Jack Wagner, John McCook and Ronn Moss

LEAD ACTRESS Susan Flannery, Katherine Kelly Lang and Jennifer Gareis

SUPPORTING ACTOR William DeVry, Patrick Duffy and Brandon Beemer

SUPPORTING ACTRESS Alley Mills, Heather Tom and Ashley Jones

YOUNGER ACTOR NO ONE...Drew Tyler Bell was on maybe 1 show this year. Texas Battle cannot act his way out of a paper bag, and he may be too old for this category anyway

YOUNGER ACTRESS Jacquline McInnes Woods and Mackenzie Mauzy

Y&R

LEAD ACTRESS Melody Thomas Scott, Michele Stafford and Judith Chapman

LEAD ACTOR Peter Bergman, Eric Braeden and Joshua Morrow

SUPPORTING ACTRESS Sharon Case, Jess Walton and Elizabeth Hedrickson

SUPPORTING ACTOR Doug Davidson, Michael Graz and Daniel Goodard

YOUNGER ACTRESS Emily O'Brien, Christel Khalil and Vail Bloom

YOUNGER ACTOR Bryton McClure, Kevin Schmidt and Billy Miller (not sure of his age)

This is bases on the Academy keeping 3 pre-nominees. If we find out they are going back to 2, i will omit one from each category

AMC (bolded who i think has been the best this year):

Lead Actress: Susan Lucci, Bobbie Eakes, Debbi Morgan

Lead Actor: David Canary, Michael Knight, Darnell Williams

Supp Actress: Alicia Minshew, Rebecca Budig, Melissa Claire Egan

Supp Actor: Jacob Young, Billy Miller

Younger Actress: Bleh. Nobody good enough to even pre-nom in my opinion.

Younger actor: Cornelius Smith, Jr., Daniel Kennedy

I don't have a full list yet, but if I may make some comments:

On DAYS, my guess is Peter Reckell and Drake Hogestyn as lead prenoms with James Scott as a third. Reckell's got the pancreas stuff from early on, and Hogestyn, call me crazy, actually has one formidable tape under his belt for the year.

Kristian Alfonso may not submit because she's had so little storyline. I doubt Arianne Zucker will be in the lead category, even though it's not that crowded this year. Deidre Hall and Alison Sweeney seem likely, and probably Peggy McKay, Mary Beth Evans, and even Renee Jones would all make the leap up before she would.

I'd expect Joseph Mascolo and James Reynolds in the supporting cateogory before Datillo and Christian.

On ATWT, has Terri Colombino had a lot to do this year? I could kind of see her dropping back down to supporting, which will be a tough race. I'd guess Marie Wilson would be on the ballot before Colombino or Noelle Beck. I'd be shocked to see Scott Bryce prenommed, since the show fired him then recast his character.

On Y&R, there are too many talented actors on the show for the also talented Billy Miller to get into supporting actor, since he's so new. I'm surprised not to see more mention of perma-nominee Michelle Stafford in lead. She'll ace Melody Thomas Scott and even Jeanne Cooper. In younger actress, I also think Vail Bloom and Emily O'Brien would beat out Tammin Sursok.

I only just got back into Y&R, and I'm a few weeks behind, but I thought there was a Phick breakup coming that would give her some end-of-year stuff that she could rely on.
