Why is Lesli Kay reduce to be playing a 12 yr. old girl in a sexy 40somthing body. Of course its upsetting when parents divorce but come on. Ever since her cancer storyline in 2006 what have she done since then? The answer is nothing. For starters have she had a love interest since Dante. And I know from what Nelson Branco has said that Bell was toying w/making Storm gay, but since that didn't happen why couldn't they got together b4 Storm died? And don't even gt me started on this storyline that is going to involve Brandon Beemer. I mean why is Owen going to be hired by her to ruin her father's marriage when Owen could easily be a boy toy for her (we all know Felicia needs a good lay). I would've been happier if they would've brought Beemer in as a recast Thomas, b/c as of right now I don't care for Owen. And doesn't she have a child (Dino) she should be taking care of instead of going to Genoa City or teaming up w/her equally immature siblings to breakup their father marriage. If this is what the writer's equivelent of giving Kay screentime or a story I am sorry she is better off being on the backbunner or off the show b/c this woman is too sexy and talanted enough to be resorted to this. FOR CHRIST SAKES SHE IS AN EMMY WINNER AND SHE DIDN'T WIN THAT EMMY FOR A STORYLINE LIKE THIS. IT WAS B/C SHE WAS GIVEN MATERIAL TO SHOW OFF THE TALENT SHE HAS.

Discuss.

At this point, I've just about given up hope that Lesli Kay is ever going to get anything worth while to do again at B&B. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she leaves the show completely before the end of the year because I can't imagine that she is happy at B&B. What was the point of not killing Felicia off with the cancer storyline? At least that way, Kay could have went out on top, and then moved on to another project. If she's not the most grossly underused actress in Daytime, she's damn near the top of the list.

You are correct sir.

To be fair, Jeanne Cooper won an Emmy for tripping all over her lines in about three weeks worth of LEAD ACTRESS work, that, again, was embarassing.

And before I get the flack, I've always been a huge fan of hers and have wanted her to win an Emmy, however, I think ignoring that the acting was horrible just for that fact would be silly.

GIVE MERYL #3!!!!

Badley Bell is just the WORSE Head Writer in Daytime. The worst. I wish somebody would tell him that to his face. If I ever get the chance, I will. When Flannery retires, please go with her. It is so ridiculous to see Thorne, Ridge and Felicia acting this way and Ronn Moss hasn't looked happy with the show since Ridge and Ashley broke up. I hope he quits in disgust. The more these actors stand up and call Badley on his BS, the more things will change.

Brad Bell is all about reinventing the show and focusing on new characters...why can't Felicia be one of them? She's still fairly unexplored, a proven fan favorite and played by a dynamite actress who got the show major Emmy attention.

Nelson, you must know. Why are they dogging her out like this? You can't say fans are writing for Brooke and Ridge because they're both supporting characters now. Same for Stephanie. It's all about new people, so surely it's Felicia's time? Owen could be a good idea, but watch him go to someone who already has a love interest. Then you have Katie who SUCKS with Nick, but was developing something nice with Nick....why not just leave Felicia or Bridget with Nick? Whatever happened to them casting Taylor's brother? Then Jake returned, but nothing happened with Flea.

At this point I want her to just leave. Shame Y&R never picked her up full time. Then again, they'd probably waste her on someone taken like Nick.

OK, you all know i'm a huge B&B fan, and while i am quick to point out the show's strengths, i am objective enough to point out its weaknesses, too.

Yes, Lesli Kay is a dynamo of an actress, and i have to believe she is unhappy with the state of her role on the show.

If you guys look way back when Felicia had cancer, i was all for Brad Bell killing her off because the story was setting up to be a real tearjeker. I'll never forget Felicia lying in the hospital bed holding Dino and telling Bridget she wanted Nick and her to raise her son. Great stuff!

But once again, realizing what a gem he had, Ballistic Brad decides to do a rewrite and "save" Felicia....BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!

And you guys are right, she, Thorne and Ridge are acting like 8 years old, so upset that mommy and daddy aren;t together anymore. Give me a ****ing break.

And this is where Brad Bell's juvenile writing comes into play. If i were writing this show, i would devote a whole episode to Donna going off on that whole Forrester clan.

Here is the scene as i set it up.

Forrester family dinner, Donna once again overhears Ridge, Thorne and Felicia talking about how they want to get rid of her for bringing shame to the Forrester name.

DONNA: OK, I've had enough of this.

ERIC: Donna, what's wrong??

DONNA: I'll give you 3 reasons what's wrong, and there sitting at this dinner table.

(The camera pans to Ridge, Thorne and Felicia sitting there with shocked looks on their faces)

DONNA: I have been laughed at, made fun of and talked about ever since we got together, Eric, like i was some kind of plague set out to destroy this family.

FELICIA: Donna, sit down.

DONNA: Can it you spoiled little bitch. You're the ringleader of this whole witch hunt. Daddy's little girl who cries and screams when she doesn't get her own way.

FELICIA: Hey Barbie, don't talk to me in that tone

DONNA: Screw you and your 2 brothers. How pathetic that 3 grown adults have to meddle in their father's life. How about getting lives of your own!

MARCUS: Mom, i'll just go.

DONNA: No you won't, Marcus. You're my son and you belong here just as much as they do.

RIDGE: Yeah, a son out of wedlock.

DONNA: Oh, Ridge, you did not just say that. This from a man who grew up believing this man was his father (points at Eric) How would you feel Ridge if your family shunned you??.....after all, you're not even a Forrester!

RIDGE: Why you gold digging bitch!

BROOKE: Don't you ever talk to my sister that way.

DONNA: You all look at me and my past as a scandal. And i look at all of you and i have to laugh. Scandal?? You wanna talk scandals?? This family created more scandals than the Spears family. Your mother fakes her own heart attack and sets up my sister to be raped....Thorne, you shoot your own brother and Mommie Dearest covers it up for you.....Ridge, the way you go from woman to woman and treat my sister like a doormat is a Hollywood reporters dream come true....and you missy (looking at Felicia), you get knocked up, tell Nick Marone he is the father of your baby, only to find out your Italian man whore Dante is the daddy.....yeah, no scandals in this family, huh???

You guys get my point......Brad Bell needs to write dialogue for adults, and treat his characters as such.

Back to Kay, i do see her bolting if things don't turn around real quick for her, and i wouldn't blame her in the least.

I completely agree with you guys that what's happening with Felicia and Lesli Kay is just ridiculous, as is the behavior of the Forrester kids. I'm kind of holding out hope, though, that this is all going somewhere further than just being about Eric, Stephanie, and Donna. For one thing, I'd love to see Brooke dump Ridge. I think a Ridge/Taylor/Ashley/Rick love quadrangle could be interesting. Also, maybe Felicia's ringleader role here could be the start of her replacing her mother as a controlling and meddling force in the lives of the other Forresters. It would be kind of cool to see her spending more time with Stephanie and almost having an apprenticeship with her to learn how to get things done. I say invest in her future by giving her a decent love interest and a few more children. And maybe another failed attempt to come between Eric and Donna will convince the kids to finally back off and maybe Eric and Donna can have some real tension, like them fighting over company decisions, etc.
