Bryggman is, or was, good friends with Al Pacino. Stage trained colleagues, I think. Bryggman plays a fellow lawyer given a case by Pacino in 1979's ...And Justice for All (a great film!).
Kathleen Widdoes (Emma, when they let her but she needs to be on more, ATWT) played Meg Ryan's mother in "Courage Under Fire"
Grayson McCouch was in Armageddon
Elizabeth Hubbard was not only in Ordinary People, but also Center Stage and I Never Sang for My Father.

Kim Zimmer has a brief but pivotal role in "Body Heat" as a woman with a resemblance to Kathleen Turner's character.
Hemingway once told a friend he was considering giving up writing. "But Ernest," the friend protested. "You love writing!" "No," corrected Hemingway. "I love having written."
