It comes full circle folks! WLS Roger Newcomb is reporting that the 2X Emmy winner is joining the cast as a new character.

All I have to say I was fulling expecting a casting coupe to break on this night. And all I have to say while I am happy that this is happening, I can't help but to think that since David K. is now HW and since the character of Jonathan and Pelphrey in the role was his muse, we can fully expect this character to come to Oakdale in a big way.

ugh. I just hope he won't be involved with Luke so I can avoid him altogether.

I think this could be really good. I was wondering where else the other GL cast members would end up. Still hoping that Gina ends up back at OLTL!

It looks like he is going to be playing a new character not Jonathan.

That sound you hear coming from New York is Tom Pelphrey teaching his new costars how to replace acting with screaming, just as he so generously did for the GL cast.

I was hoping that GL would be resurrected in Oakdale...oh well...18 days and counting...

It's not like Robert Newman is joining the cast as Caleb Snyder, or Jordan Clarke as Cal Strickland...or Gina Tognoni as Connor...

Knowing ATWT, he's a recast Chris Hughes and we'll get to see another round of Emily/Chris, Allison/Chris. Isn't this show swimming with people right now that have little to do?

He should be a recast character from the history of the show, b/c this show can't afford to have too many new characters when they have little time and vets and so much history at their disposal.

I just don't know who they could cast him as if they used him as a former character. I doubt they would write him on as Aaron Snyder since Agim Kaba has played the part twice. He's too old for Parker or J.J. What about Matthew John Dixon? He would be Lily's brother, Holden's nephew, Luke's cousin and Emma's grandson. He'd also be Margo's brother, too.

And he would be Jade's cousin, too. Is she still around?

MJ Dixon would be a good choice! They need to bring back John like yesterday though lol!

She and her daddy are either off the show or on recurring (which is pretty much the same lol).

I think ATWT is just dying to give me another reason not to tune in.

I think Pelphrey is so damn overrated. I hope his screaming doesn't rub off on the other actors.

Aside from being nice to look at, Pelphrey does not always scream. Only when, I'm assuming, he feels his character would scream. He does not always scream. Love his facial expressions too.

With pelphrey, the emmy rival of hansis, on world turns, he'd be stiff competition for the supporting actor pre-nominations against hansis.

The cast seems to love Hansis, I think if he had the work to back him up, that his cast would give him a pre-nod.

I would love to see Tom play Will. Will has always been that tortured soul and as much as I really love Jesse Sofer in that role, I think Tom could bring so much more to that role and it would be awesome to see him interact with Colleen.
