All signs point to how terrible AMC is, and has been for years now in varying degrees, so much so that Nelson called for a boycott. Yet more people end up watching it. I think the show's target demographic must be 18-49 year old masochists.
"A movie is not good because it arrives at conclusions you share, or bad because it does not. A movie is not about what it is about. It is about how it is about it: about the way it considers its subject matter, and about how its real subject may be quite different from the one it seems to provide." - Roger Ebert, from the introduction to "Awake in the Dark" (2006)

The further Y&R drops in quality, the more likely that will happen.
I hope Days overtakes both B&B and Y&R!
I don't watch Days, but based on all the raves it's getting, it should overtake that piece of trash known as the Bill, Katie, Steffy, Jackie, Owen show B&B!
Go Days!

Originally posted by DLD: DOOL didn't even air on Monday ( Columbus Day) in NYC so that should of impacted their numbers a tad
DAYS still pulled a 2.4 on Monday and 3.25 Million viewers, and this was without the #1 market in the US (NYC).
DAYS could have picked up an extra 100,000 or so viewers had it aired in NYC on Monday. Good to see the show end the week strong, after dropping from Monday to Wed.
Im happy to see DAYS with such huge gains over their numbers from last year, it truly is breath of fresh air for a genre that is bleeding viewers.
Like everyone else, DAYS deserves #2 for how good they have been and I too hope it takes out B&B for #2, at least for a week or two. It would be the 1st time DAYS has done that since the Serial Killer storyline when it actually was less than .5 from tying Y&R for #1.
